Meeting Engagement*
*
For fifty years, the standoff between North and South Korea has existed. With the addition of nuclear missiles to the North Korean armory, dictator Kim Jong Il now feels the time is right to unite a divided Korea - by force.*
*
Rapid reaction forces are scrambling to the defense of Munsan, a key village on the roadway to Seoul. First in is a parachuted force from the 82nd Airborne. With astounding speed, a group of C-130 transports have transported Cold Steel troopers with their Strykers into the Munsan territory. Stryker forces are ordered to move north up the road to Munsan to reinforce the initial paratrooper forces.*
*
Enemy units are expected to be mostly light infantry. However, local South Koreans warn that there may be a tunnel complex just south of the river. Past excavation has revealed tunnels large enough for tanks to transit!*
*
Strong support forces consisting of 155mm howitzers are available. In addition, F-16 Wild Weasels of the 7th Air Force and B-1 bombers flying out of Diego Garcia are available. Undoubtedly, the North Koreans will have strong artillery forces. One MLRS battery is available for counter-battery missions.*
*
Clearly, the North Koreans are going to be a much tougher nut to crack than the third world forces encountered in peacekeeping missions.*

Marginal or Decisive Victory is necessary to advance*
