More than a week passed since British forces established a good base in King Khalid Airbase, as well as harbours in the area. Heavy british units are now deployed and all that force pushes north, towards Mecca, the holy city of Islam. British hope are endangering Mecca with direct combat and damage to th city will force Saudi royal family to surrender the arms. War is surely not going well for the Saudis anyway.

British vehicles roll through the mountains and on arid roads. Saudi army creates some blocking positions, but those are broken easily. Instead, tribal guerilla groups operate from the mountain, making life hard for the Brits.

A task force consisting of tank unit, A Company 1 Royal Tank Regiment (1RTR), B Company from 1st Battalion, Royal Anglian Regiment (RAnR) and recon company from 1st Scottish Dragoons Guards (SCOTS DG), advances straight on Mecca. Recon reports a weak roadblock ahead. But British commander is careful. Recently, one single powerful unit of the Saudi army, surely well equipped with tanks, attacked other British unit nearby. Saudi tankers use improvies supplies and camel patrols from local tribes to guide them on the desert, thus allowing to strike the flanks. Commander is well aware of being possibly next target.

There is no time for fancy air or artillery support. The Queen wants that position from you and she wants it today. Take it, but watch your flanks.

This fight might get heavy. They may have tribes on their side, but you have all the Chieftains. Make sure you win that tribal war.
