field gun, captured and converted by the Poles in*
1926 for French 75mm ammo of wz.1897 guns.*
446 guns were available in 1939.*

75 mm wz.02/26 guns were the only gun type used in*
eleven Mounted Artillery Detachments of Cavalry*
Brigades. A detachment had 12 or 16 guns,*
in four-gun batteries.*

They were also used as infantry guns in two-gun*
platoons in each regular Infantry Regiment.*

A small number of original 76.2 mm wz.1902 guns*
remained in Polish service (89). They were used*
in two-gun positional artillery platoons, *
one gun was present at Westerplatte transit depot*
in Danzig.*
