In 1932 Poland bought 38 British Vickers Mark E*
(Six-ton) light tanks. Initially all tanks were*
twin-turret (Type or Alternative A), but in 1934,*
22 tanks were converted to a single-turret Type B.*

This unit represent earliest armament configuration*
of twin-turret tanks, with two standard air-cooled*
7.92mm wz.25 Hotchkiss MGs.*
Later the armament changed, and cooling system was*
modified, with addition of big air intakes on both*
sides of combat compartment.*

Poland also bought a licence to manufacture Vickers*
Mk.E, but decided to develop own improved tank, what*
resulted in the 7TP design.*
