ORP "Wilno" was one of two river monitors of*
Krakow class, built in Poland in 1926, belonging to*
Pinsk Flotilla (the other one was "Krakow").*
It bore a name for Vilnius.*

They were relatively light monitors, meant to*
operate on shallow waters of Pripyat basin in*
eastern Poland, against Soviet forces. In "what if"*
scenarios it can operate on the Vistula against*
Germans.*

The unit represents its most typical armament*
variant, with three 100mm howitzers (two in fore*
turret and one in aft turet) and 7.92mm MGs.*

It had no chance to fight in 1939 and was scuttled*
on 18 September 1939, after Soviet invasion. *
