Renault FT were Polish main tanks in the 1920s, serving until 1939. The Poles also used them for training in France in 1940.*

In 1939 Poland had 102 FT tanks, including training ones. 45 were used in three companies (111, 112, 113). Latter two were used in defence of Brzesc fortress (Brest-on-the-Bug), among others, blocking its gate.*

20 tanks were used on railway chassis as armoured draisines of Polish armoured trains - two per a train. They could also fight on the ground.*
Some other FT tanks were used in improvised units.*
