7TP light tanks were Polish best tanks of 1939 campaign.*
*
They were used in combat in the 1st and the 2nd Light Tank Battalions (Batalion Czolgow Lekkich), fighting in central Poland, from Piotrkow to Tomaszow Lubelski.*
A battalion counted 49 tanks, and included three companies, 16 tanks in each, in three five-tank platoons.*
*
Last 11 tanks, built in September 1939, fought in improvised Warsaw Defence HQ Company.*
*
Thanks to its Bofors gun, the 7TP was a match for any German or Soviet tank of 1939, however its armour was too vulnerable.*
Another drawback was, that too small number of tanks were equipped with radio (generally only commanders).*
