Description: Soviet Vrs. NATO War in Europe.*
*
Soviet Forces have crossed the border into West Germany initiating a Third World War. We are now in Day Three of the conflict. British Forces in NORTHAG are fighting a delaying action against the onslaught of an endless stream of Soviet Armour. The British 22nd Armored Brigade now is deployed on a stop line along the River Leine. The 14/20th Royal Hussars Tank Regiment is tasked along this line.*
*
Delta Squadron of the Royal Hussars (14/20th RH) is situated in positions straddling the town of Rossing. Facing them are the 63rd Guards Tank Regiment T-80 Main Battle Tanks, supported by BMP-2's of the 248th Guards Motor Rifle Regiment. The Soviet orders are clear. They are to push through any resistance and neutralize any British defense encountered. For the Soviets, speed and momentum are crucial.*
*
As the British Commander, expect massive Soviet Artillery preparation and support. Although NATO Air is gaining superiority over the Soviet Ground Attack capability, their Hind Mi-24's are roaming freely.*
*
You will have artillery support inclduing a limited number of FASCAM batteries. Engineers have laid what little mines we have left forward of your position. You are supported by a Mech Infantry Platoon, some West German Landwehr Platoons, and two FV438 sections. We have bolstered your air defense capability and requested AT Helo support."*
*
You will have 16 MBT's to hold against three battalions of Soviet Armour supported by Mechanized Infanty. Use your assets wisely, and limit your losses. Good Hunting!*
