We managed to clear most of the axis positions in the hill, but the gap is still not secure. That means we will have to spend some more time on mopping up operations. The New Zealand Division will not be able to support the 1st Armored Division in the foreseeable future. Still, the Tebaga Gap has been breached.*
This is the historical result. Without support from the New Zealanders, who were still engaged near Tebaga, the 1st Armoured was unable to cut off the enemy and axis forces were able to establish a new defensive line in Tunisia.
