Description:  4th CMBG at War*

WWIII has begun.  Soviet and Pact Forces have crossed the border into the FRG.  Although the main efforts have been on the Nothern German Plains, Fulda and Hof Gaps, a struggle is occurring in SE German where Czech Forces supported by Soviet Armour, is laying waste to the German countryside in its drive to Munich.*

German Forces have been driven back from the Danube.  Although the bridges at Straubing were successfully destroyed by NATO, Czech forces were able to gain a bridgehead at Deggendorf and are pushing their follow-on forces to exploit the breach.*
*
Elements of the Czech 1st CVA Tank Divison have consolidated their position at Plattling and are moving along Rt. 92 in their drive to Munich.  They are deploying to assault the remaining elements of the German 112th Panzergrenadier Bn, situated in a blocking position east of the Canadian Positions. *

You command Mechanized Infantry and Armoured elements of the 4th Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group (4CMBG).  2 companies of the Royal 22nd Regiment (Vandoos) are deployed near Pilsting, supported by tanks of the Royal Canadian Dragoons.  Your orders are to hold Pilsting.  Command of the German Units are in your hands.  However, as they are light Mecanized Infantry, use them wisely. *

You have Canadian Artillery Support and Mortor support from the Germans.  Expect the Czech's to have heavy artillery support.*

The rest of the Brigade Group are deploying further west near Dingolfing.  You must buy them time to deploy.  The Battalion Commander calls his men VooDoo Children.  Time to do some majic.  Good Hunding!*
