Point of Decision*
*
Following their heavy losses during the counter offensive, the Germans seem to have given up on Koslar and Bourheim.
However, they have delayed us long enough to end any hope of crossing the Roer river this year. A cold quiet settles over the front.
*
*
But no such luck in our sector. Command still wants to see the last holdouts on our side of the river cleared: The Gut Hasenfeld and the Schwimmbad. Looking at the tired faces of your men, you have a decision to make.
*
*
As commander, you have to make a decision. There are two options:*
A: Refuse to continue the push to spare your already depleted forces. This will negatively effect your reputation as a unit (and your campaign score), but you will rejoin the war in 1945 after thorough rest and refit.*
B: Stay on the offensive. In this case, you will play another scenario without refit, attempting to clear the remnants of the Juelich bridgehead. This is the historical option.*
*
Objectives: *
Deploy your forces around Koslar. *
Capture the objective to stay on the offensive or ignore it to go into reserve. *
*
Enemy: There will be no combat.
