Description:
(V1.0) The Ticon race is a strong and noble race who believe that the best defense is a strong offense. They explore space only to expand what they call a buffer zone around their ever expanding territories. They are peaceful race, but when provoked can become one of the most fearsome and savage societies the galaxy has ever seen. |

Biological Description: Ticon's may appear similar in shape and size to most humanoid races but the similarities end there. They have an average life span of nearly five hundred years. Ticon are neither male or female, they reproduce through a process similar to budding. An average Ticon in its life span can expect to reproduce over a thousand times. They are exceptionally strong, agile and cunning. They do not have blood and are considered one of the most difficult races to kill. They have been known to live for prolonged times in the vacuum of space without the benefit of life support. The Ticon race prefer rocky Hydrogen-based worlds, limited to no vegetation with an abundance of minerals. |

Society Description: Ticon society is broken up into what can only be described as sub cultures. The dominate culture rules the rest of the society until it is either reduced in size through natural attrition, is defeated by another culture, or its elder, often the oldest Ticon in the society dies. At that point a new Culture, with the oldest Ticon then living assumes the role of leadership over the rest of the Ticon people.. Most Ticon cultures are related to only to one elder Ticon. That Elder started its Culture when the culture that it originally belonged to was decimated, dishonored or branched off. Throughout a single Ticon's lifespan it can reproduce a thousand times or more, with each of its offspring reproducing in like numbers. The larger the culture the more power it will have. Each member of a culture is obligated to serve with the unified defense forces of the Ticon whole, and if the need arises, die defending the whole of the Ticon society. The older a Ticon is, the more power it will have. Elders in the Ticon society are revered as gods. |

General History Description: The Ticon race is one of the oldest races known to exist in the galaxy. They have been exploring space for over a hundred and fifty eons. At one point their society spanned the entire galaxy but over time it deteriorated into what it is now. Not much is know as to why their empire declined but it has been rumored that a great civil war was fought among the Ticon and at one point genetic weapons were used that ultimately decimated their entire species. As more and more races began to explore space the Ticon race became more and more xenophobic and withdrew to the confines of their established boarders. However in recent times a new, more aggressive stance seems to be defining the Ticon as they once again begin to expand outward into the stars. |
