________Player Notes:**

This can be a two player game but if played solitaire, the human player should take the Turkish side.**

You are the rear guard for the entire brigade...The chinese are trying to punch through your line to hit the rest of the unit before it has time to get into defensive positions**

Losses of your troops is not as important as the objectives on the map. The are worth a lot of points and need to be held.

_____Historical Background**

The Turkish Brigade was held in reserve by IX Corps during the advance on the Yalu river in North Korea**

When the Chinese launched their attack they punched through the Korean Corps and the Brigade was despatched to set up a defensive line.**

When the full scope of the Chinese attack was realized. Orders were sent to the Turkish Brigade to fall back to Wawon and assume a definsive position.**

As they were moving to follow this order the chinese attacked.**

9th Company which was in the lead now found itself in the position of rear guard. Outnumbered they had to hold until the rest of the Brigade reached their new position.**

The managed to hold off against numerous attacks by numerically superior forces and were effectively destroyed as a unit but they held the line.**

The Brigade was given a Presidential Unit for their actions during this campaign.**
