Description: 
The Shadows are an ancient race of beings that dedicated to the ideals that chaos is what promotes growth, advancement, and evolution.  They are masters of Organic technology and have Physic abilities.  The Shadows want to bring ordered to the galaxy through chaos.  They are aggressive conquers with superb combat skills

Biological Description:
Shadows resemble insects but they are not bugs.  It is widely believed that Shadows exist in two dimensions at the same time thus they are never fully visible in our realm.  They can be killed but it does take a tremendous amount of energy to do so.  In most cases Shadows can live to be thousands of years old, they are physically powerful creatures that phase in and out of our visual range.  

Society Description:
Not much is known about the Shadow society.  It is widely believed that they function as a collective unit with a connected conscious that can span many sectors.  


General History Description:
From what we have been able to gather we know that the Shadow race is one of the First Ones. They are an incredibly old race who at one time were dedicated to peaceful exploration of space. But over the millennium they began to adopt the theories of chaos and began to wage an ugly repetitive 1,000 year war with other races in the galaxy.  They believed that through chaos, change would come.  That races would evolve, and become more.  This philosophy of chaos led to war after war every 1,000 years or so.  Eventually only the great cataclysmic brought chaos to the Shadows chaos campaign.  Now that travel through the stars is once again possible the Shadows have reemerged to once again bring chaos to the galaxy.
