(2) Kibin (whispering): And modifiers mean a lot more.
whispering to Kibin, Also does funny things to CR; that beasty you used to be able to hit 35% of the time (14 or better), you now only hit 16.2% of the time... which reduces average damage - a lot.
(2) Kibin (whispering): True. So you have to adjust CR's a little.
whispering to Kibin, It gets even better - that beasty you could only hit 15% of the time (18 or better), you now onlly hit 0.46% of the time (1 in 216)
(2) Kibin (whispering): Because I don't have 7 extra hitdie. :P
(2) Kibin (whispering): Or rather. 6 extra.

whispering to Kibin, Then on the flip side, that fluff critter that could only hit you 15% of the time can now only hit you 0.46% of the time - making CR based much more on single, large, difficult critters, and eliminating the fluff segments.

(4) Elorin: He's trying to find a spell that does essentially what Kaylin's Great Warping already does, so we're just going to inform him of that and then see what proof he demands and try to satisfy him.
(2) Kibin: But Kaylin's Great Warping is dispellable by a powerful enough spell.
(2) Kibin: And it's still fairly similar to a regular polymorph effect that's hard to dispel. The old man still bleeds red blood, for example.

(1) GM: Inside the wall, the city is alive, but seems a little sparse for people, But then again, that could just be due to the three dimensional nature of everything; buildings tend to have doors on the second or third floor.....
