Another battle was over. You looked at burning T-55s and BTRs, wondering what exactly is going on. Those were government forces for sure, but with communication severed with UNIFE command, you were not able to tell if they were just a group of renegades, or if part of a full-scale military coup d' etat.

For now, you had other  problems to worry about. Staying in Selese was no longer an option - now your best chance was  to get to Kassala and restore contact with Ukrainian forces.

Another problem was that your forces were running out of fresh water. During the last battle, a cistern carried by one of your Jelcz trucks was damaged, causing almost all of your water to pour on the ground. What remained was not enough for your men.
