The attack was a complete disaster for the rebels- the sudden appearance of your forces thwarted their plans. With most of their heavy equipment destroyed, rebel forces lost their last chance to take over the country.

The UN council was not too happy about the UNIFE forces engaging in regular battle. . . but they realized that your actions saved the UN from losing face like in the Balkan wars. The media are all on your side, and pictures of Kassala residents thanking UNIFE soldiers for saving their lives are in almost every major newspaper.

As for the "Russian connection", as media called it, the Russian government denied any involvement, saying that the unknown soldiers you faced were Mafia criminals, and the hardware they were trying to sell was stolen a few years ago. . . Some people haven't belived in this story, saying that the whole coup was secretly supported by the Russian FSB. . . but of course there was no proof for this.

You returned to Poland as a hero - the first true war hero the country had since World War II. At the airport, you and your soldiers were greeted by the president himself. You were promoted, and there were even some speculations about you getting a Virtutti Militari Cross. . . the highest military honor available to the Polish soldier.

You made your country proud.

Congratulations.
