(2) Eldon Quickfoot: [4d6.takeHighest(3)] -> [6,2,2] = (10)
(6) Kibin: You know, we COULD go ahead without Elorin.
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: Wizard or cleric.
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: ...Without healing?
(1) Jack Simth: You want to run through a rather hostile area with multiple critters that can down just about anyone in a round or two - individually - without a healer?
(1) Jack Simth: Although I suppose we could get roped into one of the never ending battles....
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: No. Thanks.
(6) Kibin: Well.
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: :)
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: Although if it takes us to second level...
(6) Kibin: I was hoping for a glorious telekinetic sphere, invincible to everything.
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: Hold on, Roleplayer type conflict...
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: Muchkin versus Mission Man.
(6) Kibin: Noooo, I like my character!
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: * Twentieth level.
(6) Kibin: Hehe.
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: Ah well. Don't really want too many delays.
(6) Kibin: And it surely isn't that hard to NPC Elorin for a couple heals.
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: That's how you know it's time to take a break. Knitting, maybe.
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: [4d6.takeHighest(3)] -> [5,3,3] = (11)
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: [4d6.takeHighest(3)] -> [5,5,5] = (15)

(2) Eldon Quickfoot: [4d6.takeHighest(3)] -> [3,3,2] = (8)
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: [4d6.takeHighest(3)] -> [6,6,4] = (16)
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: ...Sorcerer?
(1) Jack Simth: Yeah. Charisma + Dex high, Wis + Con low.....
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: Blasting sorcerer, probably.
(6) Kibin: Sorcerer who brags a little too much about his magical talent. :)
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: And people believe him.
(6) Kibin: COMEON ELORIN
(1) Jack Simth: Back in a bit - someone knocking on my wall.
(1) Jack Simth: Back.
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: [4d6.takeHighest(3)] -> [4,3,2] = (9)
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: [4d6.takeHighest(3)] -> [5,4,3] = (12)

(2) Eldon Quickfoot: Goffer #2
(1) Jack Simth: Lunch.
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: Ok, I'm starting to get bored of that.
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: Yeah, pretty much.
(1) Jack Simth: Highest score 12, total of modifiers -2? Yeah, lunch. For _a_ goblin.
(1) Jack Simth: Could get caught up in one of the battles of Ysgrid......
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: My poor goffer...
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: And then he gains eight levels before the day is out... :D
(6) Kibin: Noooo, I wanted to have fun in a telekinetic sphere!
(1) Jack Simth: You realize those last on the order of minutes, right?
(6) Kibin: True.
(6) Kibin: Only about 18 minutes.
(6) Kibin: Why do you ask?
(7) Kaylin: We're saving the telekinetic sphere for the diplomacy-without-getting-killed thing
(6) Kibin: Okay. And?
(1) Jack Simth: How far do you think you can get in one?
(7) Kaylin: Well, if you can get us to where we need to be to negotiate in 18 minutes, go for it.
(6) Kibin: "Hi, could we speak with your leaders? It's important."
(7) Kaylin: Convincing
(7) Kaylin: Military types generally aren't prone to giving hostiles directions to their leaders
(8) Kibin (enter): 18:09
(8) Kibin: Stupid internet.
(8) Kibin: And I don't think Elorin is coming.
(6) Kibin (exit): 18:10
(1) Jack Simth: Well.....
Moving to room 'D and D'..

Server Administrator->
Welcome to Jack Simth's temporary server!
I put this up just for
a short gaming session on Saturday, and stop it after.
Session is schedualed for 10 AM Pacific Standard Time.
(2) Eldon Quickfoot (enter): 18:11
(7) Kaylin (enter): 18:11
(8) Kibin (enter): 18:11
(8) Kibin: (CHEESE!)
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: (Uh, need to BRB)
(1) Jack Simth: When we last left our heroes, they were in The Hall of the Valient, looking at a feast.
(1) Jack Simth: The angel had just walked into a back door.
** (8) Kibin goes watch the people wrestling. **
(1) Jack Simth: After a while, a young dwarf notices Kibins interest, and challenges him to a wrestling match.
(1) GM: Young Dwarf: Ah, I see you have an interest in a match.... care to get a very front seat?
(1) GM: Young Dwarf: I haven't faced off against a dragon yet..... would be a good challenge.
(8) Kibin: (And what exactly do they do in these wrestling matches?)
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: (Back)
(1) GM: (Pin each other)
(8) Kibin: (Ah. Pin each other.)
** (2) Eldon Quickfoot is eating. **
(8) Kibin: ( :)
whispering to Eldon Quickfoot, The food is quite good. Fortunately, you aren't Jewish.
** (8) Kibin says to the Dwarf, "Not that strong yet..." **
(2) Eldon Quickfoot (whispering): Lol
(1) GM: Dwarf: Hah! So a halfling would be more to your liking, eh? Lewis!!!
(1) GM: A young halfling walks up.
(1) GM: Lewis: What? Did you find a challenger? Oooh, a Dragon!
(1) GM: He's a little ugly....
(8) Kibin: Uh, okay then. What are the rules?
(1) GM: Lewis: Bah! He's so puny......
(1) GM: Dwarf: Rules? Oh, don't try to kill each other; you just walk off to a clear spot of floor, and work each other over until one of you is pinned; maintain the pin for a ten count, and you win.... unless you're the one pinned, that is.....
(1) GM: (10 count -> two rounds)
(8) Kibin: Ah, okay.
(1) GM: Lewis: Hah! This'll be fun....... It's been a while since I wrestled a dragon.....
(1) GM: Lewis heads off to a clear spot on the floor, and looks at you expectantly.
** (8) Kibin goes to the clear spot on the floor, and gets ready... **
(1) GM: Roll vs. Initiative.... [1d20+5] -> [3,5] = (8)
** (2) Eldon Quickfoot looks around for someone of his fighting style... **
(8) Kibin: Dex check: [1d20+3] -> [10,3] = (13)
(1) GM: And you go first.
(1) GM: Kibin?
** (8) Kibin charges the halfling, attempting a grapple. **
(1) GM: Touch attack?
(8) Kibin: (Uh...)
(8) Kibin: (*does quick calculation*)
(1) GM: Surprisingly, he grabs you as you approach..... [1d20+22] -> [1,22] = (23)
(8) Kibin: (?)
(1) GM: And misses horribly.
(8) Kibin: [1d20+18] -> [19,18] = (37)
(1) GM: That will hit. Grapple check? (1d20+BAB+Strength Mod -4(Size))
(8) Kibin: [1d20+11] -> [13,11] = (24)
(1) GM: Opposed: [1d20+15+2-4+4] -> [15,15,2,-4,4] = (32)
(8) Kibin: (Holy.)
(1) GM: And you can't hold onto him.
(1) GM: You charged, so it's his turn......
(1) GM: Touch 1: [1d20+22] -> [1,22] = (23), grapple: [1d20+17] -> [10,17] = (27)
(8) Kibin: (He's dodge target btw.)
(1) GM: And he misses.
(8) Kibin: (Second hit, actually.)
(8) Kibin: (Touch AC only at 20.)
(1) GM: Touch 2: [1d20+17] -> [14,17] = (31), grapple: [1d20+12] -> [6,12] = (18)
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: (rolled a one twice)
(8) Kibin: (Oh wait, nevermind.)
(1) GM: Touch AC?
(8) Kibin: (20.)
(1) GM: So that's a grab. Opposed grapple check? You're defending, so full BAB; he's attacking on his second attack, so he's at -5.
(8) Kibin: [1d20+11] -> [17,11] = (28)
(1) GM: And you get loose.
(1) GM: Touch 3: [1d20+12] -> [14,12] = (26), grapple: [1d20+7] -> [15,7] = (22)
(1) GM: Again, he grabs at you......
(1) GM: Does he hold on?
(9) Kibin (enter): 18:29
(9) Kibin: (Last I heard was that I got loose...)
(1) GM: Touch 3; hit at 26, grabbed to hold at 22; opposed check?
(8) Kibin (exit): 18:30
(9) Kibin: [1d20+11] -> [9,11] = (20)
(1) GM: And he holds on. You two are finally grappling in the wrestling match.
(1) GM: And it's your turn.
** (9) Kibin attempts to pin the halfling now that we're grappling... **
(1) GM: Opposed: [1d20+17] -> [18,17] = (35)
(9) Kibin: [1d20+11] -> [11,11] = (22)
(9) Kibin: (And other two attacks...)
(1) GM: Opposed: [1d20+17] -> [14,17] = (31)
(1) GM: Opposed: [1d20+17] -> [2,17] = (19)
(9) Kibin: (I don't suppose they can be at just -2 because of multiattack feat?)
(1) GM: Not for this, no.
(9) Kibin: [1d20+6] -> [15,6] = (21)
(9) Kibin: [1d20+1)
(9) Kibin: [1d20+1] -> [13,1] = (14)
(9) Kibin: (And no success.)
(1) GM: Not on the second.... nor the third. And the halfling goes wild....
(1) GM: Pin 1: [1d20+17] -> [15,17] = (32)
(1) GM: Pin 2: [1d20+12] -> [2,12] = (14)
(9) Kibin: [1d20+11] -> [4,11] = (15)
(1) GM: Pin 3: [1d20+7] -> [20,7] = (27)
(9) Kibin: [1d20+11] -> [13,11] = (24)
(9) Kibin: [1d20+11] -> [13,11] = (24)
(9) Kibin: (And I get pinned, I suppose.)
(1) GM: And you are pinned on the first attempt.
(1) GM: Dwarf: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6.....
(1) GM: And it's your turn.
(1) GM: you can attempt to break the pin; little else.
** (9) Kibin attempts to escape from the pin by twisting his body... **
(9) Kibin: Escape Artist Skill Check: [1d20+21] -> [18,21] = (39)
(1) GM: Opposed: [1d20+17] -> [20,17] = (37)
(1) GM: And you get loose, as a standard action; still in the grapple, though.
(1) GM: His turn......
(1) GM: Pin 1: [1d20+17] -> [4,17] = (21)
(1) GM: Pin 2: [1d20+12] -> [14,12] = (26)
(1) GM: Pin 3: [1d20+7] -> [8,7] = (15)
(9) Kibin: [1d20+11] -> [17,11] = (28)
(9) Kibin: [1d20+11] -> [8,11] = (19)
(9) Kibin: [1d20+11] -> [14,11] = (25)
(9) Kibin: (Pinned on second attempt. Meh.)
** (2) Narf falls asleep **
(1) GM: Pin on 2.
(1) GM: Dwarf: 10, 9, ....
(1) GM: Kibin?
** (9) Kibin attempts to get out of the pin the same way as last time... **
(9) Kibin: Escape Artist Skill Check: [1d20+21] -> [9,21] = (30)
(1) GM: [1d20+17] -> [15,17] = (32)
(1) GM: And it's the halfling's turn, and you're still pinned......
(1) GM: Renew Pin 1: [1d20+17] -> [11,17] = (28)
(1) GM: Renew Pin 2: [1d20+12] -> [8,12] = (20)
(1) GM: Renew Pin 3: [1d20+7] -> [7,7] = (14)
(9) Kibin: [1d20+11] -> [14,11] = (25)
(9) Kibin: [1d20+11] -> [2,11] = (13)
(9) Kibin: [1d20+11] -> [15,11] = (26)
(1) GM: Renewed on first attempt.
(9) Kibin: (Which doesn't really matter, I suppose...)
(1) GM: Dwarf: 8, 7, 6, 5.....
** (9) Kibin attempts to wriggle out of the pin yet again. **
(1) GM: You're turn; one more attempt.....
(9) Kibin: Escape Artist Skill Check: [1d20+21] -> [2,21] = (23)
(9) Kibin: (Dang. DICE, WHY HAVE YOU FAILED ME!)
(1) GM: [1d20+17] -> [5,17] = (22)
(9) Kibin: (Or maybe they haven't. Yay!)
(1) GM: And you wriggle out.
(1) GM: Course, you can't win if you just get loose.....
(1) GM: Halfling: Ah, can't really fight back?
(1) GM: Pin 1: [1d20+17] -> [11,17] = (28), 2: [1d20+12] -> [8,12] = (20), 3: [1d20+7] -> [9,7] = (16)
(9) Kibin: [1d20+11] -> [14,11] = (25)
(9) Kibin: [1d20+11] -> [7,11] = (18)
(9) Kibin: [1d20+11] -> [17,11] = (28)
(1) GM: Pin on 1, and it's your turn.
(1) GM: Dwarf: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6.....
(9) Kibin: (Enough for two standard actions before he wins?)
(1) GM: Pinned, your only real options are to talk, attempt to escape the pin, or think about things.
(9) Kibin: (Hmmm, did he say anything about breath weapons that don't do damage?)
(1) GM: (He said not to try and kill him.....)
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: (Although paralysis would probably count as cheating in a contest of strength)
(1) GM: But that wouldn't be fatal, would it?
** (9) Kibin discovers that this really isn't going somewhere, so he goes for a gamble, and uses his paralyzing breath weapon at the halfling... **
(1) GM: Fort Save: [1d20+15] -> [9,15] = (24)
(9) Kibin: (Natural 1, natural 1, natural 1...)
(1) GM: DC?
(9) Kibin: (Dang.)
(9) Kibin: (20. :P)
(1) GM: Not that high, I imagine.....
(9) Kibin: [1d4] -> [4] = (4)
(9) Kibin: (And four rounds before I can use it again.)
(1) GM: And the halfling attempts to renew.....
(1) GM: Re-Pin 1: [1d20+17] -> [16,17] = (33), 2: [1d20+12] -> [2,12] = (14), 3: [1d20+7] -> [18,7] = (25)
(9) Kibin: [1d20+11] -> [15,11] = (26)
(9) Kibin: [1d20+11] -> [6,11] = (17)
(9) Kibin: [1d20+11] -> [7,11] = (18)
(1) GM: Dwarf: Wha? Oh, um... five, four three two .....
(1) GM: Dwarf: And we have a winnar!
(1) GM: The dwarf raises the hand of the halfling, and you're let loose.
** (9) Kibin gets back on his feet. **
(9) Kibin: (Was the halfing's grapple check from strength, or high BAB?)
(1) GM: +15 BAB, +2 Str, +4 Improved Grapple, -4 Size. = +17
(9) Kibin: (Got it.)
(9) Kibin: (And why didn't you use aliases? :)
(1) GM: People rush up to the halfling with tankards of mead, and he drinks heartily. Then passes out.
** (2) Eldon Quickfoot is still looking for a suitable dueling partner. **
** (7) Kaylin tries not to be disturbed by the boorishness around here **
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: (Yeah, a spell battle would be much more civilized.)
(1) GM: You hear a knock on the gate.
** (9) Kibin walks away, letting other people wrestle. **
(7) Kaylin: (well. It'd be nerdier)
(9) Kibin: (Have to go in 45 minutes, by the way.)
(1) GM: A few people walk over, and open it.
** (9) Kibin remebers his alternate form ability. Doh. **
(1) GM: A human stands at the open door, and says "Battle!"
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: (Besides, traditional duels are generally to first blood, so quick.)
(9) Kibin: (Actually, traditional duels are until one is unable to battle.)
(1) GM: Everyone takes up the cry, and run out the front door, leaving just a bunch of the little kids cleaning up and those too drunk to stand.
(1) GM: After a bit, the angel walks back into the room, with a sack in her hand.
(9) Kibin: (All energy spells are pulled so only half damage, no obviously lethal spells like disintergration, and melee touch spells are nonlethal instead of lethal.)
(1) GM: Angel: Ah, much quieter now.......
** (9) Kibin asks the angel when she walks back in, "What's going on outside?" **
(1) GM: Archmagester's Old Flame: That? Oh, just one of the many practice battles for the end times. They'll go out and beat on each other until almost nobody's left standing. Those still standing will come back in and eat more, those not left standing will get up in the morning, none the worse for wear. Every day.....
(9) Kibin: Noone can die here?
(1) GM: Winged Lady: On the battlefields? No. Theoretically an assasin could kill someone by stealth, but otherwise.....
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: (Knew that, but couldn't say anything - OOC)
(9) Kibin: Uh, what do you mean by stealth?
(1) GM: Winged Lady: Oh, poisoned drink, dagger through the heart while sleeping, that kind of thing. Even at that it'd be hard, though. Those guys do get rather tough beating each other up all the time.
(9) Kibin: Oh.
(9) Kibin: What about dagger through the heart while they're awake?
** (9) Kibin tests something, disregard this. **
(1) GM: Winged Lady: On the battlefield, doesn't matter. Up and about, no harm done, the next morning. Not sure about off the battlefield, it doesn't come up much.
(9) Kibin: Ah, okay.
(9) Kibin: What's in the sack?
(1) GM: Archmagister's Old Flame: Why? Are you planning to go out and join them?
** (2) Eldon Quickfoot looks consideringly at the door. **
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: "I do have a quest to complete..."
(1) GM: Large Woman: Oh, just a few things; I managed to scrounge up a few Rings of Deflection, and three monk's belts.
(1) GM: Large Woman: Also a peripat of Wisdom, but I doubt that will come in particularly handy, although it does help with the Monk's belts.
(9) Kibin: (*imagines Kibin with a lot more wisdom.*)
(2) Narf: *Mind Boggles*
(1) GM: The woman dumps the bag out on a now-cleared table. Those little kids seem quite skilled at what they do....
(9) Kibin: (Heh. Did you know that I have absolutely no dump stats right now?)
(7) Kaylin: (int. You don't need that :P)
(9) Kibin: (Yes I do...)
(9) Kibin: (Intelligence is a cruical part of a rogue.)
(9) Kibin: (Without intelligence, rogues are much weaker, and lose their versatility.)
(7) Kaylin: (uhh, they lose a skill point per level...)
(7) Kaylin: (Do they have any int-based abiliities I'm unaware of?)
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: (BRB)
(9) Kibin: (Disable device and search comes to mind...)
(1) GM: She empties the bag on the table, and you see three rope belts, four plain gold rings, and a peripat on a string.
(9) Kibin: (Knowledge local...)
(9) Kibin: (Appraise, too.)
(9) Kibin: (Forgery...)
(7) Kaylin: (those last three aren't likely to crop up)
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: (Chocolate cake!)
(7) Kaylin: (at least, not without better alternatives)
(9) Kibin: (Knowledge skills are extremely useful.
(1) GM: (In this campaign, at least.....)
(9) Kibin: (I'm playing a smart rogue anyway. If you don't like it, fine.)
(1) GM: (Highly DM dependant)
(7) Kaylin: (true... my local bonus sucks)
** (9) Kibin says, "They don't look like much." **
(9) Kibin: Especially the belts...
(1) GM: Winged One: They never do..... Kaylin, was it? You'll want to check them yourself.
(9) Kibin: Or I could just check them...
** (9) Kibin casts Detect Magic, makes himself feel useful. **
(7) Kaylin: Kaylin casts Analyze Dweomer ( level 6, "Reveals magical aspects of subject." )
(7) Kaylin: (all of 'em)
whispering to Kibin, Lots of Magic.
** (9) Kibin then remembers that Kaylin has a magic spell that she prepares every day and that can identify items. Meh. **
(9) Kibin: (Correction. Absent-minded intelligent rogue.)
whispering to Kaylin, Rings of Defelction; +3, +5, +4; standard Monk's Belts, and a +6 Peripat of Wisdom.
(7) Kaylin: (*grin* Absent mindedness is pervasive)
** (7) Kaylin boggles **
(7) Kaylin: That's an impressive array of items.
whispering to Kaylin, Aye kant spel
(9) Kibin: (And I suppose I see a lot of magicky items.)
whispering to Kibin, Yes, lots of magic there.
whispering to Kibin, Pretty strong, too.
(7) Kaylin: There's three rings of deflection, in increasing power, the belts are just monk's belts, and the amulet is a very powerful periapt of wisdom.
(9) Kibin: ("Aw, gee, here I was, all set to present the "Moron of the Year" award, and you two have to go and make it a tie.")
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: (The 'folded pizza' incedent?)
(9) Kibin: Okay...
(9) Kibin: Wonder if any of the rings are more powerful than the ring I'm currently using...
(9) Kibin: (Yup. :D)
(9) Kibin: (Dice Stacking and the Health of your Game. Lolz.)
** (9) Kibin waits for Kaylin and her keen mind to reply. **
(7) Kaylin: Probably.
(7) Kaylin: (gotta go, dinner)
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: (Chocolate cake!)
(1) GM: Jason: So, who get's what? The deflection doesn't really help me any, I already have such a belt, and I've recently aquired a Peripat...
(9) Kibin: (What, Kaylin can't give me a straight answer?)
** (9) Kibin takes one of the belts. **
** (9) Kibin has an idea, and sees if he can use Detect Magic to see which one of the rings have more powerful magic on them. **
(9) Kibin: (Should work if they're the same item...)
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: (Don't see any ring slots on Eldon...)
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: (No Wis bonus, either.)
whispering to Kibin, After a time, you notice that two of them have Strong auras and one of them has a moderate aura.
(9) Kibin: (20 minute countdown..)
(1) GM: Kaylin: So... who wants which?
** (9) Kibin goes ahead and takes the peripat too. **
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: "A ring would probably be more benificial to me."
(9) Kibin: (And the results of which ring is the most powerful, including mine?)
whispering to Kibin, You can't distinguish the two strongs; what's the bonus on yours?
(9) Kibin: (Ooops.)
(9) Kibin: (*forgot he had tabs*)
(9) Kibin (whispering): +5
(1) GM: Kaylin: Great, here. Kaylin hands Eldon a ring.
whispering to Kibin, Yours also has a strong aura.
** (9) Kibin sighs. **
whispering to Eldon Quickfoot, +4 Deflection, incidentally.
(11) Kibin (enter): 19:15
(11) Kibin: (Eldon got the ring is last I saw.)
whispering to Kibin, Yours also has a strong aura.
(11) Kibin: (Or rather was handed the ring by kaylin.)
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: "Thanks."
** (11) Kibin sighs. **
(1) GM: Kaylin removes one of her own rings and puts on one of the ones from the table
whispering to Kibin, The two Strong rings have now been handed out....
(11) Kibin: And who gets the weaker ring?
(9) Kibin (exit): 19:16
(1) GM: Elorin: I suppose I take it.....
(1) GM: Elorin: And a belt; I'm about as Wise as magic can make me, at the moment.
(1) GM: Alright... summary; who got what?
** (11) Kibin puts on the belt, then, and replaces the amulet. Taking off the amulet of adaptation, putting on the wisdom thingie, and switching the two. **
(11) Kibin: (I got the monk's belt, and the perpiat thingie.)
whispering to Kibin, You feel wise. And you gain a nifty bonus to AC.
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: (Hmm...Belt that gives Int to AC?)
(1) GM: (No, just Wis - besides; you already get that from the Duelist ability)
(11) Kibin: (So... How much is the perpiat thingie?)
whispering to Kibin, +6.
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: (Thought I might.)
(11) Kibin: (The enhancment thingie, so I can tweak stats.)
whispering to Kibin, +6 Wisdom.
(1) GM: Check Whispers.
(11) Kibin: (I really need to get used to that.)
(11) Kibin: (Fear my godly 24 touch AC.)
(1) GM: Ah, and the +15 then needs a 9 or better.....
(11) Kibin: (And unarmed bonuses, woo! Not that it matters with natural weapons...)
(11) Kibin: (Actually 25 with dodge bonus. :)
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: (26 with two dodge bonuses)
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: ( :D )
(11) Kibin: (If I really want to not get hit, a touch AC of 30.)
(11) Kibin: (And 18 wisdom! WOOO!)
(1) GM: So a 15 or better..... yeah; hard to hit.
(11) Kibin: (*keeps the wisdom thingie. Hehe.*)
(1) GM: Course, you're switching between Wisdom, breath, and Natural Armor.....
(11) Kibin: (Nah, I'll probally sell the natural armor.)
(11) Kibin: (My total AC rises 1 with these two items.)
(11) Kibin: (And, since I'm a rogue, stuff that raises touch AC and regular AC is the best.)
** (11) Kibin asks the angel, "Can we keep these?" **
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: (35/37 regular)
(11) Kibin: (Oooo, added bonus. Better will saves! :D)
(11) Kibin: (I am teh invincible to charms!)
(1) GM: Angel: ... Maybe. Depends on who survives the battles ahead without them. Still... you're the ones who know how to navigate.
(11) Kibin: (And illusions. : )
** (11) Kibin asks Jason, "Could you do a shadow evocation of a wall for me? Just to test something..." **
(11) Kibin: (And now to put the wisdom to the test.)
(1) GM: Jason: What are you trying to tell?
(11) Kibin: Seeing how much easier it is for me to disbelieve the illusion now?
Kaylin casts Shadow Evocation, Greater ( level 8, "Mimics evocation spell of 7th level or lower." )
Kaylin can cast Shadow Evocation, Greater 0 more times
(1) Jason: Kaylin: Well, here's one Wall of Force....
Kaylin casts Wall of Force ( level 5, "Wall is immune to damage." )
Kaylin can cast Wall of Force 0 more times
(11) Kibin: (Question. What the heck is a 80% real wall of force?)
(1) Jason: Kaylin: And here's another. See which one's real.
** (11) Kibin looks around. "Uh, where are they?" **
(1) Jason: Kaylin: Either side of you. Reach out and touch them.
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: (Does it matter?)
** (11) Kibin touches the force walls, then, seeing if they're real or not. **
(1) Jason: Will save?
(11) Kibin: Wis check: [1d20+4] -> [12,4] = (16)
(11) Kibin: (Gah, wait.)
(11) Kibin: Will save: [1d20+16] -> [10,16] = (26)
(11) Kibin: (There we go.)
whispering to Kibin, And that would be a barely success. You can tell the wall on the left isn't quite as solid..... in fact, it's not affecting you at all.....
** (11) Kibin walks through on the left. **
(1) Jason: Kaylin: Strangely, the real one's easier.
(11) Kibin (whispering): Does Slippery Mind work on illusions?
(11) Kibin: Hmmm?
(11) Kibin: You mean to cast?
(1) GM: Kaylin: Yep.
(11) Kibin: Ah. Maybe it's what you give up for versatility?
(11) Kibin: (Heh, wonder if Jason would be mischievous enough to do one of a wall of fire.)
whispering to Kibin, Nope; not an Enchantment spell or effect.
(1) GM: (It is in his range.....)
(7) Kaylin: (back)
(11) Kibin: (Uh, can we stop here now? Need to go.()
(1) GM: Sure; decent place to stop, and I have something to report....
(7) Kaylin: (all right.)
(2) Eldon Quickfoot: (Report?)
(11) Kibin: (Something to report?
whispering to Kaylin, Oh, and Kaylin - you got the +5 Deflection ring.
whispering to Kaylin, Just struck me as something you'd do - +3 to Elorin, +4 to Eldon.
(1) GM: (Loot division)
(11) Kibin: (Ah, okay.)
(11) Kibin: (MY ITEMS.)
(7) Kaylin (whispering): Seems to be a good way to divide based on current AC
(11) Kibin: Ooo, shiney button...
