Patriarch
Description: Patriarchs are an aggressive species, which seek to expand their control to every corner of the galaxy.
Biological Description: Patriarchs are a human offshoot with exceptional intelligence and physical stamina. Their average height is 2.2 meters, with an average weight of 175 pounds.  They are exceedingly strong, and are believed to have psychic abilities albeit it has never been proven.
Society Description: Patriarch society is similar to that of ancient Roman on Earth.  Their leader, the Praetor, is elected to office by the Senate and holds the office until death, which is often through assassination.  The Senators are elected representatives of the people.  Albeit most are appointed more as a result of their station in the social political environment rather than being elected by the people.
General History Description: We know that the Patriarchs homeworld was populated by humans from Earth around 10,500 A.D. Earth standard time. According to Patriarch historical files, a race known only as the "Takers" landed on old world, Earth, and took them to the new world, Patriarch, in order to save them from a great catastrophe.  We know that these "takers" were responsible for populating a great many worlds with human beings over many eons.  The Patriarchs began developing space travel around the same time as other races and are considered to be an aggressive empire-expanding race with a strong desire for conquest.
