B TROOP - 2nd ARMORED CAVALRY SQUADRON - 11th ACR

MISSION - THE ARMORED CAVALRY TROOP PERFORMS RECONNAISSANCE AND SECURITY MISSIONS TO PROTECT AND PRESERVE THE FIGHTING ABILTY OF THE UNITS TO WHICH IT IS ASSIGNED OR ATTACHED. THE TROOP ALSO CONDUCTS OFFENSIVE AND DEFENSIVE OPERATIONS, NORMALLY AS AN ECONOMY OF FORCE.

ASSIGNMENT - ORGANIC TO 5TH CORPS

AREA OF OPRERATIONS - SOUTH OF VEGELESBERG THROUGH FULDA AND DOWN THE KINZIG RIVER VALLEY THROUGH HANAU TOWAORDS FRANKFURT.
