Re: OT: D&D 4e or: Wanna slaughter some minions?

Sorry, my mistake: it said in a few places that party members could share costs during a ritual, and that you'd carry as many ritual components "as you need or can afford" so I thought maybe it was abstracted and the game assumes I already have as many components as I need for any given ritual, up to the amount of gold I'm carrying. However it is probably not so, so I'll take about half my leftover gold as reagents (rounded down to the nearest 10.)

Another mistake: I forgot that being east means I'm in the future. (Thought it was today. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/redface.gif) Noon on Saturday will be 7 in the evening GMT, also still Saturday. That's 2200 at night here and still works fine (especially as it's the Summer Solstice, woohoo!) only I have work the next day so we can have a session up to a few hours.

If everyone agrees to share the costs, we can. But, thats likely something to discuss after the adventure when we're divvying up the loot. Take out expenses first, then divide the rest. Regardless, you'll have to have bought the stuff beforehand to actually do the Ritual. Luckily, level 1 Ritual Components only cost 10gp for a full Ritual's worth.

I've figured out the maptools issue and can get it to work; if it proves better, I may use it for the next session, but it's too close to this session to switch.

Well, provided everyone is on, I will need everyones' character sheet and we could start then. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Astorax - Rogue - Character sheet in.
JFries - Cleric - CS in, although I forgot to download it. I'll go get it...
Randalw - Warlock - CS not in.
Nocturnal - Wizard - CS in.
Sacarasc(sp?) - CS not in, although he seems to want to play.

What about Douglas? And I'm really hoping one or both of them take Fighter/Warlord. This will get ugly if not, heh.

15 + Con score is 29 - Where's the extra 5 HP come from?

Oh - If you dropped the torches, you could afford plate. The Standard Adventurers' Kit...Wait a minute, SAK?

Well, you've got sunrods in that sack you're carrying around...

Now that's a witty and appropriate acronym! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Narf - Toughness feat.

Re: OT: D&D 4e or: Wanna slaughter some minions?

Whoops, now I see another mistake in mine: my initiative bonus is just 1, since you don't add 10 to it as a base. But you all knew that which is why nobody mentioned it. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/redface.gif

The extra 5 HP comes from his Toughness feat.

Fighters don't get Plate armor proficiency as a free class feat like Paladins do. Weird, but true! Scale armor doesn't bog you down as much anyway: it gives you the -1 speed for heavy armor but doesn't interfere with any Skill checks.

You still don't need any torches, since we have the breaklights (sorry, sunrods) and I have a cantrip that gives about as much light as a torch anyway as a minor action (plus I can attach it to a target up to 5 squares away from me.)
