Come on you all. This was a great one of a kind team game. We can get this thing rolling again. And with a 72 hour host, it will be no crimp in your crowded schedules.

As the one who launched the game, I'd certainly like to continue.

Failing that, we could start another team game - with a map better suited to the forced coastal starts (sorry about that) - maybe once Kingmaker has gone to 72 hrs (or only with people eliminated from Kingmaker already http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif).

I am now in 4 games, 3 of them in the endgame phase, so i dont really have time to play in this game anymore, but i can give my nation to a sub.

I wouldn't mind a restart so much. We could get new people for those that don't want to play. I want R'yleh again though.

as I said before the previous one started: IMHO the nations could be matched otherwise.. I'd not mind switching that.. or the nations.. or the players playing the nations.. or the team...

I'd like to be in the game though.. it's a nice concept if you 'don't get slaughtered ASAP

Hard to tell. Sometimes it doesn't matter what you do. It just works out a certain way. Sometimes it is just luck.
But I don't know enough of what happened to say. I just snuck in and took provinces with crappy chaff armies once you were already overwhelmed.

Well I just got beaten badly everytime except here

"Battle report: plains of Umidor (55)

The invading armies of Mictlan didn't heed the warnings of the righteous god of Patala and marched towards the Patalainian capitol, as promised the combined armies of Patala where awaiting them.

In the east 2 groups of elephants (12 and 19) where arranged next to the groups of 100 atavi archers
The army was led by indepent commanders under supervision of a bander commander. The Naga had sent 4 nagarishi to bless the battle with their presence.

On the other side of the battle field a King of rain led 50 flagellants and 30-40 wild and terrible jaguar warriors.
Clearly an army which would recieve a false blessing to enhance their weakish bodies.

The patalan armies, entrenched and ready had the first stroke.

Before the King of rain could say his false divine blessing
four blade winds and 100 arrows rained down on mostly the flagellants killing half of them before they could get a twisted faith.

After that the wretched king of rain blessed his remaining troops and they charged forth only to fall again to blade winds and archer fire.

After 2 turns the naga blessed our army even more by staying bravely on the battlefield while they had been ordered to leave after bladewinds had been cast twice.

All hail patala. "

and only because he didn't have his bless up then.. before and after that I just got beaten up VERY VERY nastily.

when will the it be decided if you continue or there is a restart..

if there is a restart I'd say the host should message all players and create a new thread for the new game (and a link to it in the message)

then wait a day or 2 for reactions and the recruit new players and make teams etc...

I'd like in though.

Hmm, the first game looked headed for a crappy late-game quagmire, so I wouldn't mind seeing it die a peaceful death. I'd be up for a restart though if people wanted, though I'd prefer to wait until the 15th or so to get rolling since I'm out of town at the moment.

I've just been beaten in the kingmaker game, so I'm not playing any atm. I will be away between the 3 and 11 aug, but apart from that I'm available.

But I have already been useful with regards to the LA Atlantis funnification, so there is no need for me to play the game any more.

I'm ok with continuing, but I think I don't want to restart. Other nations might need me more http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

It would be fun to have a look at other players turns though, if we don't continue.

Hmm maybe not a real restart.. but just a new game with same idea (team game) just select a few new nation combo's..

and players who played can get in first if they wanted ..

Let's do a re-start of this game. It was a very good game, and I think we should do it again. Same teams, we only need to replace those players that do not wish to participate.

LA Atlantis will get some new UW units next patch, including some dream resistance to better tackle LA R'lyeh.

personally ít's not the best of times for me with 2 games going on and me being annoying in another one.. but I won't say no to this one if it starts... havng said that.. waiting another month works for me too
