I'll turn him to AI before the timer runs out, then.

He is still not AI and stalled again (and Fomoria took more of his lands...).

Re: Caelum -> AI

Sorry, I was offline and didn't make it to set him to AI in time. I wanted to do it some hours before hosting.

Janlm, I'm sorry about that, I didn't get to test it but assumed that it would work just like for PBEM. I'll have to investigate this later. Maybe I need to reset the server?

it happened for onomancy too, the strange thing is that the status page said that the game had received my turn. Well i got internet back today, so everything is back to normal for me now.

Server hiccup

The server barfed, said he couldn't write to a savegame file. Now it is clear why your orders haven't been followed last turn:
<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>-rw------- 1 www-data www-data 73720 2008-01-16 00:49 early_tienchi.2h</pre><hr />
The script overwrote your turn file in a way that only the web server can access it. During hosting that means that the server didn't get to read your orders and let you stale. When you tried to update the *.2h file it barfed at the write error. I have fixed this and changed the script that this does not happen again. I dare you to try the script again. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Re: Server hiccup

What happened? I was unable to connect days ("Waiting for game info") and then today I get a new, stale turn :-( I really sorry for missed trades. And missing turn sucks.

Re: Server hiccup

Sorry, you should have sent me an email in case of trouble, so that I could at least reset the game timer or something. As far as I am aware, the server was operational, all others have been playing their turns just fine.
