I'd vote for another map - anything with fixed starts. Random starts may result in very odd (and bad) capital placement for some nations.

In order to be constructive, I digged in llamaserver's map listing, seeking for 9 land, 1 sea maps with fixed starts.

That map looks good to me. However, since I'll be dropping serbal from the list, we'll have 9 players, so I'll recruit more. While we're waiting for statttis to say something about his nation, I'll be posting a lookout for 1 player(2 just in case probably).

I was looking for another game to join. To be fair and honest I am probably above intermediate in skill (though rusty since I used to play the game many years ago). I will leave it up to game creater to decide if that is ok or not.
