Yea I agree that the map might be a bit to small for all of us. We should have picked a bigger map.

Well, there are still enough provinces out there for us each to conquer 10 more and the smallest of us would have 12 which is a respectable number and the largest of us would have 20.

Of course, 11 of those provinces are water provinces, but that only works out to 1-2 water provinces/player.

Some of us are feeling a bit of an odd placement cramp though is more my concern. If my calculations are correct that dom candle I saw was actually caelum giving me more room in the north to get up to (possibly) 10 provs providing noone else interferes. As it stands I've got 4 folks bordering me now which leads me to believe that Niefel, Ulm, and Caelum have the ENTIRE eastern front to expand in. And those are alot of farmland provs for just 3 nations. And while their expansion has been less than stellar... It's still quite a nice advantage if they can act on it.

Not quite. I'm already boxed in by bordering nations and I've had an accidental run in with another when we both attacked the same province in a turn. I don't have an entire eastern anything for me to expand into :p

Well, I've been in a bit of a bind, you see. Picked the wrong provinces to attack, and with insufficient troops to do it with. Plus had a few instances where my crossbows decided to attack...nothing when there were large blobs of enemies closing in on them.

Terrible expansion phase on my part.

Re: The Good, the Bad intermediates and the Ugly noobs (Running)

After few private talks with player and the current comments on the thread, im afraid the game won't be fun because of the lack of balancing.

Also the noob team is in a bad shape for at least 2 of them. Nief don't stand chance because of his starting loc & Ulm has made a fail start.

Considering the situation i d like to know if you people want to go further or not.

Re: The Good, the Bad intermediates and the Ugly noobs (Running)

If people don't want to continue thats fine by me - Join the blood bowl.
I Myself had huge luck in everything I did so that kindoff gave me amazing start.
Imagine taking misfortune 2 and getting + 400 gold turn 3 and + 200 gold turn 4:D
Also Imagine killing the knight Solaris and finiding all his artifacts worth 100 of gems:D or finding an easy way to get to the seas or finiding amazons + gryphon riders(when you went for a sacred rush so you have amazing bless:D)
And now imagine you get all that + decent expansion:D.
So it feels unfair from my point of view.

Well since it does seem to basically be just Hinnom, Fomoria, and Arco left in the running at a mere turn 8 I'd say let us go ahead and kill it. I can jump into BloodBowl myself

I'm ok with aborting this game. My position seems fine, but it looks like the overall interest for this match is low already, and it's only turn 8.
