Re: missed turns
I sent an email to Velusion, asking him to send the master password to Gandalf. Hopefully he gets it and responds.
|
Re: missed turns
I got a bite! Konming has volunteered for C'tis.
|
Re: missed turns
OK Velusion sent me the password and Jotunheim is now AI

Re: missed turns
The new humble chieftain of C'tis sends his greeting to all lords of nations. There is just one small problem, the server will not allow me to download map; the original link as well as the mediafire one is dead. If someone could kindly post the map here, it would be greatly appreciated.

Here you go:

Re: missed turns
And welcome, konming. You have vast forces at your disposal. Probably the best in the game at this point. Don't squander them.
|
Re: missed turns
Thanks a lot Lingchih.
|
Re: missed turns
Hail konming, new leader of the noble lizards of C'tis. Don't forget, that you are Agartha the Great's vassal 1st class. You are the only realm that is allowed to hold 15 earth gems. Praise Helena for that noble gift.

Re: missed turns
i need a copy of the fallacy map with the map files, as i plan to use it in the future. Anyone have a copy of that that does not mind posting a link?

Re: missed turns
there are 2 files for every map. the picture, or rga file, which is all you need to play the game(like what i gave everyone in Kingmaker). Then there is the text(called map file) that you need to start new games on that map, and to edit the map.
Your download has the map file. Thanks Hadrian. |
Re: missed turns
That sound you heard was the 3rd of my globals to come crashing down( Why do I get the distinct impression that shin and jotunheim gave their items and gems to the ryleh?
Is it not a Dominions' tradition to give your stuff to the race that conquers you? Either that or the Ryleh has so many clams that it just make 150 s gems a turn. heh. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/biggrin.gif |
Re: missed turns
How did your GoH go down? No one overcast it.
That said, a global spot is open. Ahh, the possibilities! |
Re: missed turns
It is called a dispel. Doubtful anyone had 250 nature gems lying around, but with clams, i guess throwing that many gems into a dispel is not that painful.
Heh. |
Re: missed turns
Ahh yes, dispel. I had forgotten about that, since no one has used it in this game until this point. I think R'lyeh is quite good at that though.

Waiting for game info hang
So, this turn I got the "waiting for game info" hanging bug. Anyone else get it? I sure wish someone could find a fix for this. It's easy enough to get around by launching multiple game instances in windowed mode, but still very annoying.
|
Re: Waiting for game info hang
And, oh, one last thing. Hello again Agartha. We are back. We loved your lands so much, we could not wait to revisit them again. Hope you don't mind.
|
Re: Waiting for game info hang
So what will happen to the many globals that will be casted this turn? The first one goes through and the rest will compete to dispel exsisting globals? Or all will compete for the last position?
|
Re: Waiting for game info hang
the 1st one cast will go up, and every one cast after that will try to displace an existing global. The order will be randomly determined, so there is no way of knowing who will get the free slot.
|
Re: Waiting for game info hang
Is the one that goes up in the empty slot dispellable immediately? I.E. is it an "existing global" on the turn it's cast?
|
Re: Waiting for game info hang
yes. it can be dispelled immediately.
|
Re: Waiting for game info hang
IIRC, dispel actually targets enchantment *slots*.
So if you cast dispel at the global in slot 4, and it is replaced before your dispel goes off, the new global in slot 4 will be targeted instead. |
Re: Waiting for game info hang
Got it. Thanks, guys.
|
Re: Waiting for game info hang
And no globals were cast. I guess they will come next turn. Everyone scared to burn those gems, eh?
|
Re: Waiting for game info hang
You can praise our lord Helena for that since everyone is too scared to cast earth deep well. BTW, why isn't Helena using wither bones on the evil undead of Ermor?
|
Re: Waiting for game info hang
It is pointless for me to cast one, as there is either one or more nations that are acting to dispel anything I put up.
|
Re: Waiting for game info hang
How cheeky of our vassal to question Helena. But we will answer to you: The mighty researchers of Agartha haven't yet researched that awfully advanced spell.
|
Re: Waiting for game info hang
Alright, alright. As always, we bow to the great might of Our Lord Helena.
|
Re: Waiting for game info hang
Wouldn't work against us anyway. All of our sacred vestals and longdead horsemen wear Anti-Wither Bones Amulets.
|
Re: Waiting for game info hang
Is R'lyeh in this game anymore? They were very active several turns ago, but seem to be doing nothing now.

No globals this turn.
|
Re: Waiting for game info hang
Eat this, Ermor. Agartha the Glorious will come out of this battle victorious! Death to Ermor and the sneaky Eriu!
|
Re: Waiting for game info hang
Eriu has done no sneaking at all. Just full speed ahead...
But you didn't leave *us* much to eat in our old fort...the horsies are a mite peckish. And the decorating! Our moat is a parking lot of silly statues. |

Re: Waiting for game info hang
Don't confuse me with petty facts. Agartha the Glorious will win, that's all that counts.
And I command now my vassal C'tis to attack Ermor and Eriu. Not that Agartha couldn't obliterate them all alone, but C'tis should get some action and honor after all this time. |
Re: Waiting for game info hang
Hmm. Looks to me like Agartha the glorious lost. Well, we had the numbers, and it was a good fight.
BTW, I think another chunk of Helena fell off. My retreating troops picked it up. Some of my more more skeptical commanders are saying it is just a rock, though. |
Re: Waiting for game info hang
Ermor needs nature gems, and lots of them. Name your price. I'm sure we can pay.
|
Re: Waiting for game info hang
Yes my master. C'tis commands Eriu to leave Agartha land.
|
Re: Waiting for game info hang
Bah! Treachery and black magic made Ermor get away from utter and well deserved annihilation! And Agartha the Generous will glady give you a nature gem in exchange of the head of your Pretender and the lands you unrighfully claim to be yours (which means all of your lands).
HA! Now you've got it, Eriu! |
Re: Waiting for game info hang
Now I've got what?
|
Re: Waiting for game info hang
Oh, hello, Mr. C'tis. I didn't see you there. My apologies.
Please define "Agartha land"...I have a feeling anything I vacate would be annexed by Mr. Ermor, who is even more annoyed by Agartha the Always Making Statements than I am. |
Re: Waiting for game info hang
http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/eek.gif Helena has been offended! What an insolence! What an inpudi- and inpertinence! An utter brash-, brassi-, cheeki-, perki-, sassi- AND sauciness! I'm at a loss of words (if there were no online dictionaries)! Helena the Mild, Helena the Good, Helena the Loved and Much Valued of Agartha the Great, Agartha the Glorious and Agartha the One that Knows All was maligned! *faints*

Now, now, check back a few pages Mr. C'tis. Agartha declared war on me, not vice-versa.
|
Re: Waiting for game info hang
How many times more does Ermor underestimate Helena's forces? How many Tartarians must be put back to where they came from? Only Helena knows the answer.
And lo! and behold! C'tis comes to join the onslaught against the Alliance of Eriu and Ermor! |
Re: Waiting for game info hang
Well, we only send the awful Tartarians over to fight you. We keep the good ones at home for a rainy day. Of course they kill our citizens, burn our temples, and are just generally un-civil, but we chalk that up to being undead gods with lots of nasty wounds. That would put any ex-god into a bad mood.
As for the battle, yeah, it didn't exactly go our way, but I equate that more to losing 3/4 of our troops in the Stygian Paths on the way over. My Lich was quite surprised when he got to the battle, and had a look around. "WTF, I'm supposed to fight with this rabble?" he was reported to say. He decided to leave and go join the siege on Agartha next door. And, oh, almost forgot. We welcome the mighty Helena to our southern lands. What a surprise! We had no idea she was dropping in. We would prefer she not have dropped in right on top of our temple, but so be it. She has full guest rights. Anything she needs? |
Re: Waiting for game info hang
Heya, I've taken over Pan. We will uphold any deals struck by the previous management, please update me on any such agreements.
Don't mind us, we're just here to watch the fireworks. |
