LAW 11 – Offside
Offside Position
It is not an offence in itself to be in an
offside position.
A player is in an offside position if:
 he is nearer to his opponents’ goal line than
both the ball and the second Last opponent
A player is not in an offside position if:
 he is in his own half of the field of play
or
 he is level with the second Last opponent
or
 he is level with the Last two opponents
Offence
A player in an offside position is only
penalised if, at the moment the ball touches
or is played by one of his team, he is, in the
opinion of the referee, involved in active play
by:
 interfering with play
or
 interfering with an opponent
or
 gaining an advantage by being in that
position
No Offence
There is no offside offence if a player receives
the ball directly from:
 a goal kick
or
 a throw-in
or
 a corner kick
Infringements/Sanctions
For any offside offence, the referee awards an
indirect free kick to the opposing team to be
taken from the place where the infringement
occurred. * (see page 3)

I hate to see what this level of American Fanaticism will turn into after Voeller and crew grind and mash the american team.

Or better yet, USA makes it and gets crushed by Korea.

The Fluffie Bunnie Waitresses are quite willing to return to work, they are all sated after several days of seclusion at Chez Saxon. They regret that the mismanagement team misunderstood the hasty rush to my house. It was not a group resignation, but a reaction to the news that I was single. They promise to remain on duty, as long as a regular rotation of evenings with me is written into their contracts.

I stood among the danish fans (with my german shirt, of course) during the final at Göteborg in 1992 and had a real good time after Danmark won.

aaahhh The US lost 1-0 to Germany, nice close game, hats off to our illustrious opponets, (shaking hands) At least they got farther then most other US soccer teams have. If they keep this type of play, they will be a team to watch in the future, (hopefully)..
