Tomorrow is the important day for me, Senegal is playing. I hope that the Turks play to their usual standard, not having made a World Cup since 1954. Once we get by them, it is only a few short steps past Brazil and then defeating South Korea in the final. Ahh, the dreams are alive.

An observation: Star Wars II Attack Of The Clones is faltering at the box office. Not many poeple are singing its prase, and even less are willing to give it a thumbs up.

First a simple question... How many times did you see Star Wars I Phantom Menace in the theater?

A fact: I saw SWE1 PM something on the order of 5 times in the theater. I found that I actually enjoyed it better than EP2 AotC. In talking to people, many of whom hated Ep 1, I have discovered that no one has seen Ep2 a second time yet. Not one person. By this same time after Ep 1 PM had been released, people had seen it 2 or 3 times.

A thought: Perhaps Ep1 was just so new that everyone wanted to see it after a 20 year drout. Or Episode II stinks and people are totally uninterested in it.

I have only seen AotC once, and have no plans on seeing it again any time soon.

Haven't seen Ep 2 but Ep 1 suffered from the same flaw as most modern action and sci fi films. Lame story, No character developement, really cool FX. I think they spend a billion dollars on special effects and get the best script writers they can for a case of beer and a pizza.
