Works very well for the handle "Loser". I'm sure you're familliar with the original namesake, who also fits the handle pretty well. [ September 09, 2003, 16:30: Message edited by: Loser ] |

Re: OT: The House of 1001+ Avatars
this one looks like one from a game called fantasy empires, based on a shared world, forget what it's called.

Re: OT: The House of 1001+ Avatars
I know plenty well how the story goes.
But he's know for the part of his life that sucked. See below comment by Puke for convenient anecdotal evidence. |
Re: OT: The House of 1001+ Avatars
There was definitely a period of Job's life that sucked big time, no lo contendre on that aspect. However he wasn't so much a loser as temporarily cursed. I don't believe hard times necessarily make a person a loser; I think there's more to it than that.
Mind you, it is a matter of word definitions on this aspect, and people can disagree on those rather easily, with no difinitive way to determine who is right. You might consider him a loser, I don't think the label is appropriet. We dissagree? Happens; I suppose it doesn't exactly matter much, does it? |
