Ah, well it should matter mathematically. If the disk is spinning, the outer edge is moving faster than the inner portion. As a result, the outer edge is heavier and more compressed, and distorting space more. Consequently, the irrational number of pi no longer exists – well it’s no longer useful other than an estimate. I have no standing to engage in a math discussion with you (beyond simple addition) but I think I am right about this.

Ah, the classic difference between a scientist and the engineer. The scientist sits around trying to figure exact answers to questions which are meaningless. The engineer simply estimates the correct answer and then goes on to build the disc.

Actually, the effects of the manufacturing tolerances dwarfs (by many orders of magnitude) the nearly infitintesimal area modification caused by the outer stretching in a spinning CD. In fact, the Heisenberg Uncertainity Principle will tell you that the difference is likely not even measurable! Which means is matters not to the engineer, but only the scientist!

Fair enough!

Ooops! Looks like Arco and Jotunhiem each wanted to take over the Druid Forest. Hmmmm. Nasty battles. Lot's of blood.

Hah! That was our army of the cursed, diseased and afflicted. We wanted Arco to kill the giants and let us keep the longbowmen, but instead he killed the longbowmen and left us the giants instead. Grrr.

Yes, kill the longbows and leave your nasty giants to rot away. Actually I believe that I did try to kill a few Giants with soulslay but they must have pretty good resistance. Anyway its just a drag I had to attack the Indies first, oh well. But this little battle must pale into comparison to the unkillable Ermor and the unbelievably tenacious Mictlan battle. Man I wish I had a scout still in that area it would rock to see exactly what was going on. Anyone have some info they would like to share?

No information from Ulm's vast spy network.

Just to let folks know, I am not having much luck finding someone to fill in for me other than Dragonfire. I will keep trying.

Re: Dragonfire11 pinch-hitting for the Dawg

The death of Ermor has been greatly exagerated. Well they are technically already dead but anyway. Is deccan still unwilling to allow Dragonfire to take over?Maybe Beorne form Vanheim should take over, he is miles from all the empires involved, if that is the issue.

Re: Dragonfire11 pinch-hitting for the Dawg

If Pasha can't find anyone, I withdraw my objections to having dragonfire sub for Pasha.

I'll just scrap my secret plan for invading Ulm and invade Arco instead. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif Just kidding.

Re: Invading Arco

Ah hah. There is truth in jest Jotun. I know you desire my bountiful wastelands with their mighty 2000-4000 population. They are mine I tell you. I need those 9-20 income provinces to pay for all my scouts. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif Seriously though we could always put the game on hold like the other game Pasha is in.
