Look, no offense, but I'm getting tired of waiting on this game. I offered host; I'm still willing to host. I don't know how people get the ip address to resolve to a name - but I am willing to setup a server and distribute the ip address.

I'll wait a few hours... but if I get into another game I'll probably just drop.

I'm not offended, and it certainly is very unfortunate that now that we finally started the game is down again. I don't make demands about hosting this game, it's just as a service for secretperson who can't do so himself. If the players are cool with it, then feel free to host the game yourself instead. I think that would be best for the game at this time.

I can't give you the game files, though, as all the backups are on the server which now has gone unavailable. As far as I understood Gandalf, no data is lost, but it's unavailable at the moment. What I could do is give you the pretender files and the email addresses of the players and then you start the game anew from scratch. Since we just started, I don't think it's too much of a problem - or did somebody get some awesome hero that he is going to miss if we restart?

Ich, I appreciate the offer. Why don't you forward the pretender files, we can get this working faster that way.

Even better.. zip em in one file... so I can unzip em.

Ok, then I'll transfer the pretenders and email addresses to chris right now. I'm really sorry for the mess, everybody, and hope that you bring a lot of patience with you concerning Dom3 MP games, in case this was your first game. They ARE very exciting games to play, much better than what the AI can give you in SP games. It will be worth it to stick to this game.
