The game is asking me to install "Assimilation_Mid.dm".
I'm copying my "Assimilation-Mid.dm" file to a new file, "Assimilation_Mid.dm" and will see if that works.

Edit: Well, that didn't work.
Where do I pick up the "Assimilation_Mid.dm" file?

For me I had to rename the file to the one specified for it to work. Hope that helps.

Well, I tried copying the file and renaming it but that's not working.
It keeps displaying as "Assimilation - Mid" in the mod preferences screen, no matter what I name it; even if I name it "XYZ".
And Dominions 3 keeps asking for "Assimilation_Mid".

Hmmmm.

When you say you're copying it do you mean leaving the original file in place?

Yes, I'm leaving the original file in place; just copying it to a new file.
Oddly, no matter what I call the second file, two identical options "Assimilation - Mid" then appear in the mod preferences screen.

My dominions 3 mods folder contains the Assimilation folder, a (probably useless) Assimilation - Late.dm file, and a file I renamed to Assimilation_Mid.dm.

If you're saying that you have both Assimilation - Mid.dm and Assimilation_Mid.dm it probably means it's only 'seeing' the first one.

Needed to rename it.
