I've extended the hosting interval as a support for rabelais in his current situation. We're still on quickhost though.

Well, it's not been a happy time for Mictlan. First two turns staled before I took over, so much catch-up. Anyway, After the delayed start, my plucky iron-ignorant savages had conquered a decent chunk of territory and had two fortresses mid-build.

This turn, two random events. 50+ Barbarians pillaged the province one fortress was being built on, and defeated the PD by the narrowest of margins. In the second province I was mid-build, I got a random attack of knights who utterly trounced the PD.

So, 2000 invested gold destroyed and my development set back about another 4-5 turns on top of the 2 already lost.

This is why I really hate Misfortune scales. Curse you, Fate!

that's why if i am using Misfortune scales, i always put at least 25 pd on the province that a fortress was being built on:D

Heh. That's one I've learnt as well now - I've barely ever used misfortune before :D

Admittedly, even 25PD would probably have only stopped the knights because the H3 that was there at the time might have been able to smite enough of them down - I think they suffered no damage at all except from him.

Machaka has staled 14 turns out of 19 (Including his last six). Might speed things up to set him to AI?

Yes, it would. I'll need to find a volunteer.

Also: I've slapped a delay on the next turn to give Nikelaos a chance to sort out his computer situation.
