It looks like we have synchronization problems for some reason. My scout observed a battle this turn, where Agartha broke the Eriu's siege and soulslayed Eriu goddess. And in the same time the same goddess cast a global. Wtf?

Wonder why the AI decided that curse of stones would be a good idea against statues?

Would've lost if your pretender was set to do some stomping instead of some casting.
