Re: Ukraine OOB New and Old Toys
I just read some article from https://en.defence-ua.com/weapon_and...ine-11351.html and NK has also other version of Bulsae-4 M-2022 installed on small truck 6x6 which rather wasn't sent to Russia.
https://en.defence-ua.com/media/cont...9433bef4e1.jpg And since 2016 also Bulsae-4 mounted on Mi-2 helicopters. That is interesting story about Mi-2 in NK. They were imported from Poland in parts and are know locally as Hyŏksin-2. First appears in 1977 in the DPRK unarmed then were fitted with four 4x 9M14 Malyutka (Bulsae-1) 1980-1984 manufactured. Insted of Malyutka they can carry two 57mm UB-16 rocket pods or 4 Malyutka & and two 57mm pods. And now Malyutka were exchanged to Bulsae-4. https://forum.warthunder.com/t/hyoksin-2/105004 https://forum-en-cdn.warthunder.com/...544cf808e6.png |
Re: Ukraine OOB New and Old Toys
There is nothing in that article besides a vague reference to "TV-guided missile in development" so until better info is found I am not going to build that into the game. Global security has a similar vague reference..

The overhead cage is really not that folded up but what I found new and interesting is what appears to be a double-layer screen on the back rear hull https://i.imgur.com/NnLVk2q.png If you move that video frame by frame it eventually shows it to be a single layer standing what appears to be a couple of feet away from the rear of the vehicle https://i.imgur.com/53QUOSC.png REVISED https://i.imgur.com/icf5vdm.png |

None of my books cover newer weapons systems. I have a Jane's warship recognition guide published in 2006, and an armored vehicles recognition guide published around 2005, etc. |
Re: Ukraine OOB New and Old Toys
It's X ( twitter ) and all it's doing is showing the Marders with the added protection cages. Since it shows a moving vehicle and a crewman I would suggest it came from the Ukrainians in Kursk
That's just my opinion, I didn't post it |

And I apologize for the double post above. I tried to edit my original post, but somehow wound up creating another. Then the site would not let me delete the original post.
