Hello to all X-Com staff:

Here I will upload (not from my own crippled PC)
the following files, I hope ALL of you will be able to download them without a problem.

The contents of the files are:

Comps36x36.zip: This file is the big component image archive (converted to jpg format) with the inclusions of the new X-Com related components.

Images files: Includes the images of individual components, the still incomplete shipset (Warning: some designs were taken from other shipsets, some directly, other modified, from: UFA shipset, Zeta reticuli shipset, Gorn AST shipset, etc... (a Credits.txt file is due!) Please all interested parties tell me if it is OK to "lend" the images.

Data files: It includes a rough draft file with X-Com mod ideas (supposed to be enormously augmented by your help!). The fragmnents of TechArea.txt and Facility.txt files I have written (to paste on the original files you are using). And Last, but not least there is a file with all the additions and modifications I made to mo personal Proportions Mod Game. Perhaps you can use some of the ideas (All things borrowed are indicated there!)

If you are interested in having those modded files you only have to ask for them, and I will upload them for you.

DEATHSTALKER'S FINAL MOUNT MOD (Gold Version 1.4)

Notes/etc:

This will be the final upload of my mount mod for the forseeable future. It has alot of changes (and yes, tonnes of mounts http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif ). Most notibly the Gatling mounts have been re-balanced to make them less than the uber-weapons they were.

Additions:
Engine Mounts (Civilian/Merchant/Military)
Robo-Miner Mounts (with levels)
Short and Long range Missile Mounts (with levels)
removal of key overpowered mounts and rebalance of tech levels on a few mounts.

A final note on the Long/Short range missile mounts. Yes I know, you can NOT affect the range or damage of the seeker itself with mounts, these mounts instead affect the range at which the seeker is launched. Either eliminating the time the target has to 'missile dance' (short range) or firing before the target enters range (Long range) so there is less time to target impace (ie , weapon platforms that can't move anyway). New uploads of X-Com comps pictures only:

The big image with all the 36x36 pixel comp is now correctly displayed.

The big 128x128 pixel components were adequately numbered to be compilant with the Comp image pack v1.13 (latest).

They were zipped without keeping path info, so you have to unzip them in any folder and then copy to the folder you like them to stay.

Remember: ALLWAYS make a back up of the files you are going to edit and/or add fragments! In case it does not work, you only have to replace it for the previous Version.

PS: Mr. SJ: what do you think about them? Do you think they can be included in the comps pack?

Ive been busy lately.

Presented here, for your enjoyment, is the full LR mod VehicleSize.TXT file. Its only missing Colonyship sizes and costs, as I have yet to decide.
