Good, except that both disarmers/sunderers need improved sunder. Otherwise the guy with the soulknife can slash them and counter the sunder.

Also... With the enhancment bonuses, it would have a hardness of 16, with an HP value of 40. That would be hard to destroy with a single sunder attack.

And if the creature manages to destroy it in one sunder attack, you probally shouldn't be there in the first place.

So Disarm's the better choice, as the Soulknife's blade automatically vanishes as soon as the Soulknife lets go (with the temporary exception of when it's thrown) - Let's see ... at 15th, a fighter with a Greatsword has a Disarm check of +4 (two-handed weapon) + 15 (BAB) + Strength and weapon enhancement + 4 Improved Disarm + misc stuff, for +23 and miscalaneous; at 15th, the Soulknife has +11 (BAB) + 3 (Mind Blade enhancement bonus), -4 (shortsword is a light weapon....), plus miscalaneous bonuses; +23 + others vs. +10 + others.... there's a very good chance that blade is on the ground immediately, and the fighter has two more attacks coming.... and that's assuming the fighter is using a fully mundane weapon; give the fighter a +3 weapon, perhaps a casting of Enlarge Person.... and it's something like +30 + others vs. +10 + others... also known as "It's down. No save. Deal with it."

Re: OT: Narf has gone looney and wants to GM.

I've got good news and bad news.
The good news is that the part came in for my car.
The bad news is that I'll probably be putting it in myself, on Saturday (01/07/2006), although, depending on how other things work out, it might by Sunday, and not interfere with the session.
So, if I'm not waiting in the lobby when the time for the session comes around, session's probably canceled.
Sorry.

That's why it's called a plot 'Hook'.

Have fun with the car part - hope you're better at mechanical things than I am http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Oh great - I just got reminded that the robotics competition officially begins Saturday. Probably going to be gone a significant portion of the day, if I'm back at all. I'll get the charsheets up in case there is a session tomorrow, so you can NPC me if you happen to need a wizard wandering around. I'll also have to miss the 28th, the state honour orchestra is rehearsing/perfoming 26th-29th. Sorry for missing so many. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

Oooh! Robots! Yes.... muhahahaha.....
Oh, wait, wrong genre. Ah well. Hmm.... golems....
Orchestra? Cool. I've recorded live orchestras before; love the sound, can't stand the volume from the seats, though. Too loud. Can't turn it down when hearing it directly.

Saturday or Sunday on the repairs depends primarily on which day my dad will be available for working on my car (as opposed to my sister's....). If he can fix her car today (it's brain died, and it needs a transplant; modern car repair IS brain surgery, at times) then he'll be avaiable on Saturday, rather than Sunday; if her repairs take longer, then he'll be available on Sunday, rather than Saturday.
