Not really - some people prefer to take some time away from the game, to think over what they're going to do. Not so much in the early game, but definately by whenever there's wars between player nations.

Turn whatever, is up. I think it is turn 40. Hard to keep track when you are getting hammered like I am.

Hammered as in beaten like a dog, not getting drunk. Although a few beers sound nice at this point.

Heh. Had a very nice pumpkin ale here today; went to my favored IPA after a pint, but thought the spices were rather nice. Good stuff, if not quite as good as the brewpub back in TPA.

Well, you know, we have the best handcrafted ales, as well as brewpubs, up here in the PNW, but that doesn't always jibe too well with a well-played turn. Still, it lets you deal with those humiliating losses a little better.
