It could also be a misfortune event that caused arco to lose a province. But going by the graphs...Ulm, Mictlan, and Jotum all gained a province the same time Arco lost his.

And it looks like Ulm is going to invade me also.

The nation of mictlan has gone insane and gone to war with ulm since they provoked us by spies causing unrest to do so .
Ermor your time has come to make a few easy grabs on ulm .

just want to say: The pangaea satyrs are the bravest units ever. Everyone should be sending pangaea requests to train your troops in morale uberness.

Today was a bad day for me, but seeing my province defence destroying your main army made me smile again http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif. Anyway, it was a nice idea to use the kraken as an SC.
However,I offered you peace and you attacked me. Now I'll drive you back into the waters you came from squidhead

Well, it seems that violence is breaking out everywhere, and thus the game's namesake is fulfilled http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

I must admit, I did expect that the indies would mostly gone before chaos ensued...

What really annoys me is that you managed to slow both of us so much that we are no match for the other nations out there.

It seems to me that high indy settings encourages players to go after provinces that have already been cleared by other opponents instead of risking troops taking new indies. A lower indy setting should help to reduce early wars and push players to kill all indies before engaging in a potentially debillitating early war.
