The first metal shipments have begun to trickle in from the Aram system, at the same time that production of our defensive TIE squadrons is for the most part concluded. These two facts have contributed to ease the pressure upon our raw materials stockpiles; we are once again building Nova-class colonizers on Virgillia Prime and on Gesaril V. The Loovria system has good mining potential, especially on Loovria I; we will invest heavily there to avert this shortage that has been hanging over our heads for so long now.

Security forces for the Loovria system are being raised on Aram IV; Fyrine II is holding station above the planet to take them there when they are ready. Meanwhile, Black Saber I has joined Fyrine III above Aram I, after dropping off the security troops and the civilian population that will run the system government from the Yakrin homeworld.

On another note, an Alliance colony ship has entered the Aram system. I have no intention of sharing the spoils of this war with them, especially after we defeated the bulk of the Yakrin war fleet while they sat and watched. I will see to it that Nova XII launches ahead of schedule; she will colonize Aram VI, a former Yakrin colony which the Alliance destroyed a day before we could capture it. If we can claim Aram and Loovria for the Empire, the Alliance will be boxed into a corner, and they know it.

I believe we are seeing the beginnings of a colonization race with our allies; if so, I have no intention of losing.

Our metal stockpiles are still on the rise, mostly due to incoming shipments from Loovria; it is a pity that we may have to share that system with the Alliance. Their Hephaestus-class colony ship sailed right through Aram and entered the former Yakrin colony system; it may soon land on an unclaimed world. We will have to wait and see what they do.

Fyrine II has left its orbit around Aram IV, with a reduced security regiment and a few million colonists aboard; I believe this will be enough to oversee the captured Yakrin worlds in Loovria.

Captain Veren's Fleet has arrived at the hyperconduit taken by the fleeing Yakrin colony ship. Soon we will capture them and put an end to the Yakrin threat. At the other end of our small Sector, Seeker II has arrived at our colony on Klozar VI and is currently waiting to be resupplied.

There are no great threats to us, for now. We must take this chance to prepare for the challenges that lie ahead.
