Not just any old badger - a Dire Badger. Tunnels collapse behind regular badgers. It's in the description of the Dire Badger, and the description of movement modes.

Re: Online D&D Gaming

No, I mean a pit-trap that disguises a spike trap or something.

Jack Simth September 3rd, 2005 03:10 PM

Re: Online D&D Gaming

You mean a simple spiked pit trap? Or like having the BBEG disguise himself and lead you to a trap wherein order to fall for it, you must get past a pit trap and then walk in on an extraplanar undead?

NullAshton September 3rd, 2005 03:14 PM

Re: Online D&D Gaming

No... You avoid the pit trap and walk right into spikes that pop out from the walls.

Rasorow September 6th, 2005 10:23 AM

Re: Online D&D Gaming

An open pit trap that cannot be jumped... but has just enough edge that you can walk around (passing Dex check) only to find the ledge opens to a slide trap depositing you...........

It's my fault I guess. I let you know when I'm too sick to play. I should have let you know that It was ok to play. I'll have to remember in future.

Fyron and I are waiting on the server. Narf probably forgot and we'll just have to hope he checks the forums soon and gets reminded by this thread like I did.

Re: Online D&D Gaming

Server is up and running, and the forums keep whining about this post already existing, which it clearly does not...

Re: Online D&D Gaming

I was talking with Null and he is interested in mondays. I'm guessing this is not possible, but can anyone say if it is?. Regardless We are thinking of starting an hour early this week, that way Null can play (just this week it seems).

I still have my level 6 character sheet ready. Just need some reason to hop on in your castle thingie you're at...

I believe he's the one that was unavailable on Mondays, so if he can play Monday now that solves the problem.

I can play an hour early, but I don't know about everyone else.

NullAshton September 14th, 2005 01:40 PM

Re: Online D&D Gaming

Well I thought it would take longer. Meh. Well, you're going to have a cleric now. A cleric that can zap people with searing light, and cast remove curse.

Randallw September 14th, 2005 09:42 PM

Re: Online D&D Gaming

I was just thinking. Will Fyron be back to create a server for the game tomorrow?. I hear he is in Vegas.

NullAshton September 14th, 2005 09:44 PM

Re: Online D&D Gaming

I'll make the server. Can run it 24/7... So why not?

Fyron September 14th, 2005 11:31 PM

Re: Online D&D Gaming

I will be there. Is it confirmed that we are starting at 4 PM PST instead of 5 PM PST?

Randallw September 14th, 2005 11:49 PM

Re: Online D&D Gaming

yes, I'll try to start an hour early.

Randallw September 15th, 2005 08:33 AM

Re: Online D&D Gaming

Right then, I'm off to bed. A bit of swatting for tomorrow and then I'll turn in early. The only other person here sleeps in as much as I do almost, so here's to getting up in time, I hope, cross fingers

Server's up, and all but Narf are there. Hurry up and play, Narf.

Re: Online D&D Gaming

Monday I probally won't come. Not enjoyable, for me at least, to come on for a litte social interaction and a 2 hour combat. So I guess my cleric will just stay at the monastery...

douglas September 18th, 2005 10:46 PM

Re: Online D&D Gaming

I have some tests coming up that I need to study for, so Thursday would be much better for me this week. Since NullAshton won't be coming tomorrow, that removes the only reason I know of to have the session on Monday this week.

NullAshton September 19th, 2005 08:25 AM

Re: Online D&D Gaming

Ah yes, there's also the lack of time to roleplay in...

Randallw September 19th, 2005 08:52 AM

Re: Online D&D Gaming

That reminds me Null, as you're a cleric what sort of god do you want? I didn't think of it before. I'm working on my world as we go along, so if you can come up with what sort of god you want I can include one in the pantheon. It's a bit small at the moment (as I only bother making up stuff if we're going to use it). SO far the gods I have are

Huhm - the god of humanity
Rad - a hero/god who saved mankind from the elves. Sort of the patron of the empire
The Stag- the god of the nurturing side of nature. I worked that one out with Rasorow.
The beast - basically the vicious side of nature.
The lichgod- the god of the undead of which the current villain serves.
There also were the gods of the Elves and Orcs, but they are both dead, as are apparently all Orcs.

I'm probally not going to be in this game any more, till there's a better time for me to play.

I had a memory/scheduling problem, and now the schedule's set; I won't be able to make tomorrows. Any chance of rescheduling to Friday?

Randallw September 21st, 2005 09:26 PM

Re: Online D&D Gaming

I don't mind, if it's ok with everyone else. I was just about to say that without Null we could change the time back to normal (ie an hour later than last week) but we'll have to see what the others think about changing the day.

Well...I could possibly be back by six PST. The problem is, I can't garentee (Or however you spell) that.

douglas September 21st, 2005 10:24 PM

Re: Online D&D Gaming

I can play Friday, but I think that's one of Fyron's bad days.

Randallw September 22nd, 2005 12:54 AM

Re: Online D&D Gaming

As dissapointing as it may be, it may be an idea to postpone the next session a week, seeing as how it will finish off the campaign with the final showdown with the archvillain. Otherwise you have only 2 players turn up to defeat him.

Randallw September 22nd, 2005 08:21 AM

Re: Online D&D Gaming

Ok, I'm logging off for the night assuming there's no game tomorrow.

Re: Online D&D Gaming

Final confrontation with the BBEG is scheduled for 8pm Eastern (5 Pacific, 10am Australian) tomorrow, right?

Randallw September 29th, 2005 01:12 AM

Re: Online D&D Gaming

Yes. I was going to ask about the time, that is if there had been daylight savings or something in the US because last time when Null played there seemed to have been a mistake with the timing. I'll assume 10am is the right one.
