Re: 320.2! 301.5, 311.3, 65.4
If you're a hero any vehicle you drive automaticly gains 500 horsepower and can drive away from insane stunts.
Any computer can be hacked in less than a minute. All computers are networked. Villians can use underlings as ablative armor without losing the others' loyalty. Detectives are either super-intelligent or totally incompetent. The laws of physics are merely suggestions. The bad guys always use the same type of ammo you do. If you wear a bulletproof vest you'll always be shot in the chest but not have to worry about kinetic energy. You can carry on a conversation in the middle of a firefight without shouting. You can jump or fall from great heights without injury as long as you roll when you hit. |

Re: 320.2! 301.5, 311.3, 65.4
It's four in the morning, the end of December
I'm writing you now just to see if you're better New York is cold, but I like where I'm living There's music on Clinton Street all through the evening. I hear that you're building your little house deep in the desert You're living for nothing now, I hope you're keeping some kind of record. Yes, and Jane came by with a lock of your hair She said that you gave it to her That night that you planned to go clear Did you ever go clear? Ah, the Last time we saw you you looked so much older Your famous blue raincoat was torn at the shoulder You'd been to the station to meet every train And you came home without Lili Marlene And you treated my woman to a flake of your life And when she came back she was nobody's wife. Well I see you there with the rose in your teeth One more thin gypsy thief Well I see Jane's awake -- She sends her regards. And what can I tell you my brother, my killer What can I possibly say? I guess that I miss you, I guess I forgive you I'm glad you stood in my way. If you ever come by here, for Jane or for me Your enemy is sleeping, and his woman is free. Yes, and thanks, for the trouble you took from her eyes I thought it was there for good so I never tried. And Jane came by with a lock of your hair She said that you gave it to her That night that you planned to go clear -- Sincerely, L. Cohen |

Well, it lives but only barely. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif It keeps descending to the brink of death and somebody resuscitates it just before it goes into oblivion.

Oh it ain't gonna rain no more no more
It ain gonnaa rain no more How in the heck can I wash my neck, if it ain't gonna rain no more? Man lay by the sewer And by the sewer he died And when they wrote the town report They called it suir-cide. Oh it ain't gonna rain no more no more It ain gonnaa rain no more How in the heck can I wash my neck, if it ain't gonna rain no more? Oh Mary had a little lamp That little lamp was stout But when company came callin' over That little lamp went out Oh it ain't gonna rain no more no more It ain gonnaa rain no more How in the heck can I wash my neck, if it ain't gonna rain no more? Anyone else know any verses? [ December 31, 2003, 00:48: Message edited by: Loser ] |

Democritus must have been an incredibly smart guy, to have that sort of insight in 400 BC!
