Re: MP Game - Anyone interested in a *really* slow
Not necessarily. 5-day absence can be handled in this game if you play your turn shortly after host is done.

Re: MP Game - Anyone interested in a *really* slow
The Last few rounds have taken quite long. Does anyone know whether Marignon and Vanheim are still in the game? They are the Last ones to not make their turns, and I have a feeling it was the same thing Last turn. Marignon's power graph is looking bit sad too, is he fighting back at all?
Turms - playing Pythium P.S. Damn. Abysia is really getting close in gem income - have to push harder.. |
Re: MP Game - Anyone interested in a *really* slow
I think Marignon is still in. And Vanheim wont be for long if I can help it. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Re: MP Game - Anyone interested in a *really* slow
Marignon is fighting on several fronts. Maybe he is trying to arrange some diplomatic coup or maybe he's just thinking about the optimal actions.

I had to try 2 times to connect.

Re: MP Game - Anyone interested in a *really* slow
Hi guys.
My parents were in a very serious car accident Last week, so I've been neglecting the game. I apologize, but sometimes you just gotta prioritize. They are both alive and recovering. Yay! In other news I can't connect. Given the number of wars I was fighting, it may be that I was eliminated in the two turns I missed. ;( Or the game could be down. port # still the same? I still don't have time for anything, so please put me on AI, or not, if that's more fair. marignon accidentally was not password protected so it should be easy. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif Again I apologize for any alliances this snafus, but I assume I got eaten for lunch over the Last 2 turns, so the effect may be minimal. It was quite a fun game, even if my starting position made it a tiny bit fruitless. In other news, in less than two weeks the USA will lose even the pretense of being a democratic republic, if Monkey-Boy is "re-elected". It's telling on the state of our political culture that the GOP/Bushies have done ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING wrong, have done nothing but create an unending series of disasters, have nothing positive to run on, and on the basis of disgustingly-business-as-usual spin+lies are still neck and neck. Makes one wonder what it would take to get people to notice Rome is burning. And this time Nero set the fire. Some conservatives. God help us. Has anyone else noticed how "diebold" reminds one of "diablo"?? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/evil.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/evil.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/evil.gif Off to the swing states, Rabe |
Re: MP Game - Anyone interested in a *really* slow
Hey, the Bush cabal is simply reminding the world that democracy in the USA is still "a grand experiment", and an experiment that is failing. On the bright side, after he wins this election because his Reich rigged it ( throwing out democratic and independent voter registrations, screwing with the voter rolls, having a company whose president promised to deliver this election to Bush making many of the electronic (fraud prone) voting machines ), we can look forward to the brighter Bush as our president in 2008. And then, screw it - it'll be the Bush dynasty, and we'll have an unconstitutional monarchy. Remember - this is a president who looked into Putin (former KGB guy)'s eyes, and said he got a sense of his soul. No doubt - they both are willing to falsely imprison people, start wars, lie, slander, destroy constitutions, etc, in order to get and maintain power. As a nice 60-something year old republican lady who voted for Bush in 2000 put it, "I'm ashamed that I voted for Bush Last time - and I did so because of his stand on firearms (the which I dislike personally but I do feel that "the people" should have access to arms lest they be totally at the mercy of the government. But if the democratic process won't oust him and no one will shoot Bush, then what's the point of having guns?" And this is a woman who readily admits that she doesn't follow the news, because it's too depressing. |

@Rabelais: Marignon is still in the game and at least got no serious beatings from me (except from a faked siege)... |
Re: MP Game - Anyone interested in a *really* slow
I was just able to connect twice, albeit only about 1 in 4 attempts was successful. (Incidentally, could we get "Glacier" put into the title of the thread?) |
