As for the Devil Queen dying, sadly this is true. Attacking blind early frequently causes this little annoyance. But dying increases your ranking in the HoF, for whatever odd reason! Each death is worth something like 10 points in the HoF score.

It is also amazing what can be gleaned from the only stat that is always on, the HoF. I too saw just how happy Boron must be with the restart!

whoops! my mistake its Marignon with all the mercs. The little flags for some reason confused me. Oops, Grim Knight must be selling fire gems left right and centre to afford those boys.

Looks like Beorne and KroolDeath started next to one another again. Wonder if one or the other is going to hold a grudge...

In the Last games I was "squeezed" by Grim and Panther over poor KroolDeath but this has not avoided the crushing of my empire.
Considering that now I have lots of open field to expand in, and with my obsidan/feathered warriors my punch vs indep 9 is very slow and weak (and considering I fear Van) I hope peace will reign for long time between my rivers of blood ...
