well, the pic of the Grot (space goblin) has not fared well in the shrinking process. and when I crop just his face, it's almost unrecognizable.

I have been gathering a bunch of 'goblin' pics and will make some new avatars, maybe one of them might fit the bill. In the mean time if you find another pic you'd like me to try, share the link and I'll try again.

David, you probably know this but your Avatars also make great Icons for shortcuts.
I use the one you made for me for my PIM.

I was thinking of a good idea for an avatar and i thought of a solid star (like the deadstar system in space empires gold) then pulses of purple light ripping through it in all directions then it ignites into a purple star, it might be a bit to big in size to do though. I'm sure you could pull it off but if you don't have the time it's ok. I'm still quite happy with the one you made me, although i think the ranks obsolete now lol. If you are generous enough to do this (i'm sure you are but of course Aarons work and anything else takes priority of course, imagine what a heretic i would be if i disrupted work on SEV! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/shock.gif )

RD, I did a quick scan through the se4 gold pics, and didn't see one called deadstar. Could you point me in the right direction? Just find the name of the pic you're refering to and I'll see what I can do from there.

Kamog, you must mean AngbandTK, I wasn't aware that the regular 'Angband' used my tiles. (Although there was some talk about adding support for larger tiles (like my 32x32 set) but I haven't herad if that got implimented yet.)

Ah well, I'm glad you like the tiles, btw my tiles that are distributed with AngbandTK are free if you ever decide to use them in your own roguelike game.

Also, A newer improved Isometric Versions of those 32x32 tiles can be found in Dungeon Odyssey. Download the demo and give it a try.

It's got a ton of art pics (classical and new). A lot of it would need cropping to make an avatar, but they might work anyways.

Here's one that I would like to see turned into an Avatar (for myself of course):

Art.Com looks promising too. It's got a lot of new poster material (ie the Matrix, Terminator 3, Finding Nemo) and lots of classical stuff too.

Would the horizontal lines show up when shrunk? If the original lines show up relatively clearly then i'd prefer that.
