Hello everybody, anyone remember me? the despotic intergalactic hirsute and feline dictator of the galaoxy? (oh and patron of the cantina???)

Nice to know no-one notices when you are gone...

If anyone is interested, I have 21/2 weeks of my free time left, I have just come back from west africa, timboutou to marrakech and have 3 days at home before I hit damascus and the crusader castles. Xmas this year is in the desert...

After seeing what this new food is like Ragnarok slowly pushes his plate of what he thought was just refried beans and some tacos away. He also rubs his nose and says, 'it truely has been a long day, I can't believe I just saw that, or felt it for that matter.' Rags pays his bill and walks out of the Cantina.

By the way, I never understood exactly what "sentient" means. I learned the word from the Star Trek episode in which Data was being judged whether he qualifies as a life form or not. ( http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif Poor Data... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif ) In order for him to have the same rights as other beings, he had to be (1) intelligent, (2) self-aware, and (3) sentient. Everyone was clear that he qualified for (1) and (2) but they weren't sure about (3).

Kamog, I don't know the dictionary definition but it's to do with how intelligent a thing is. For a example a human is sentient, but a dog isn't. Or at least, a dog is a lot less sentient... Oh I don't know.

*Dogscoff orders a plate full of something sentient and angry.

'Tig! Good to see you back, if only for a while. I've managed to stall the health inspectors so far, but I'm not sure how much longer the Cantina will Last. Never fear though, when we do get kicked out we will surely find somewhere else: A cantina replacement thread is underway...
