About 850,000 research points on turn 75, which ended in the destruction of the Norachi Empire after the collapse of the Last stronghold. Obviously, we are on a bigger map than average, as I had about 45 colonized systems in my greedy hands, and all three colonizing technologies. (Even if I didn't bother to use Ice) Computers were researched as well to increase this amount. I only built so many research centers because we were playing with a high technology cost, but even then, research is very cheap. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

Do not worry Nodachi, I lost a mere two games in a row on KOTH, so the record was not too high. Not yet. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

So Nodachi, Alneyan, is your game over? I see Nodachi has uploaded a turn file.

Re: Are you tough enough to be the "King of the Hill"?

Yes it is, as Nodachi Empire has been removed from existence the turn before, and as such I gather his turn file was empty. For statistics purposes, the game ended on turn 76 and the settings were: good start, 100,000 resources, high tech cost and no racial points.

OK. KOTH page is updated.

I still consider if I should merge the top and crest of the Hill. There's lot of empty slots now but I think many of the bottom games are going to end soon.

OK, I have considered enough now and I decided merge the top and the crest of the Hill.

Grandpa Kim vs Parabolize
turn 76
I surrender. The organic race i had modeled around my game with Gecko just can not make it through grandpa's Sats. Grandpa got a dagger in a hole of my armor and i cant do anything but try stoping my people from rioting.
GOOD GAME http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
thanks to primitive for the map.

Timmyland Gang (Grandpakim) vs. Hammer Heads (Parabolize)

(translation of the original Timmy talk to English by Grandpakim.)

:-) [synopsis]

Timmy! ? Ahh!

[Contact! But Timmy is confused by the strange empire design. Ah ha! He means to ram me!]

Yawn....

[A long period of jostling and consolidation with loss of some lightly held Timmyland systems.]

Gobbles!

[Timmy unifies the disputed system of Eurul and captures some enemy population.]

Gobbles? Bye, bye. :-(

[Timmy wins another fleet action at the entrance warp to Lenoltris preparatory to capturing the system... but the Hammer Heads immediately abandon all half dozen or so colonized planets.

Timmy!! Gobbles, Gobbles, Gobbles!!! :-D Uh!

[Several more positive fleet actions and two fleets begin gobbling Hammer Head planets in two different systems. Unfortunately, like ships in the night, one of those fleets and an enemy fleet pass each other unnoticed in a nebula system and Lenoltris is once more occupied by an enemy fleet, one perfect for a fleet action but singularly inappropriate for planetary attacks.]

Gobbles. TIMMY!

[The planetary captures continue but finally, a situation smoldering for a couple years erupts.
The Hammer Heads pass a fleet of 130+ ships into Xillanthra to battle 60+ Timmyland ships and 100 medium sats. When the dust clears, the only remaining force is 94 sats. A victory for Timmy. And for the first time in the game Timmy moves into first place!]

TIMMY!!!!!

[Victory! The Hammer Heads surrender... and no wonder, riots everywhere.]
