Re: MBT's
I want to start with a simple there must be "someone in charge" you need to only to look at what happened today at Torontos Airport today.
Shows the value of wearing a "seat belt" wherever you find them. :D M-10 BOOKER update: Currently conducting Winter Trials. Also to tighten the START recommend AUG 2025 based on the following quote. "The Army plans to field 14 M10 Bookers per IBCT, with the 82nd Airborne Division receiving the first units by late FY2025" The conservative dates since the above doesn't say how many they'll get would be DEC 2025/JAN 2026 to ENSURE at least one maybe two ICBT's are FULLY equipped. Also, this will provide a certain amount of flexibility if the remaining tests should uncover anything unforeseen. https://www.armyrecognition.com/news...-in-the-arctic I've been told by several of my co-workers (Source our TRNG LT.) that since we started our new physical standards testing of which I do the 2-mile walk (There is a 1.5 mile run in 16'30".)(Only as we are closely monitored.) in 32' minutes or less I hold the two fastest times since we've started. 27' flat NOV. 23 and 26'37" MAR. 24. That's 4.5mph+. My goal is in the morning is 26' flat. It'll be cold that's a plus. Someone I went back out to help on the course last year to make sure he finished the last +1/4 (He wouldn't make it otherwise when we checked his interval time.) will be going out with me again tomorrow. Sad thing is I'll be 67 in June and I'm doing this against co-workers that in some cases are over 40 years younger-how can that be!?! Then to work later in the day. :) Yes, I'm mentally preparing myself and bottom-line JUST better than last year wouldn't be so bad either. Time to relax. Regards, Pat :capt: |
Re: MBT's
Pat
what I have is a phased introduction.. A section in June 2025 Platoon in Aug 2025 Coy Jan 2026 |
Re: MBT's
I don't see the ARMY sending a Section into Combat but, I certainly can see them sending a Platoon into combat if needed.
Just my thought. Walk- 26' 2" that's better than a hand grenade! Regards, Pat :capt: |
Re: MBT's
This is a carry over from my last in the APC Thread regarding the 30mm turret for the ACV.
I used to use a site called “blueprints.com” which I found is now a “dead site” that actually had a somewhat fair amount of listings of turrets used commonly on a variety of platforms. I spent some time looking for an alternative site and the following seems like it would be a good start for many of you possibly. https://drawingdatabase.com/category/vehicles/military/ Scroll to bottom of page to search by type/maker. Back to Vacation. I hope it will be of some help. Regards, Pat :capt: |
Re: MBT's
Guys
On january 13/ 2025 slipped and fell on ice in my backyard. It was sudden and I KNEW I Had hurt myself as soon as I hit the ground BUT I got myself up and continued what I had been doing and didn't have any real "symptoms" I felt justified a trip to the Emergancy department of a local hospital until Febuary 18 / 2025 AS A result I do not know if I am capable of moving forward with the games and ASSEMBLING.THE PATCHES HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY RESPONSIBILITY[/b]...only time will tell but I May not be able to carry on and I am just putting EVERYONE on notice about that my ONE HOPE is that I start gettin better soon Don |

Re: MBT's
Thank you Warwick
My wife tells me I am getting better but someone observing has a better perspective than someone at the eye of the storm. I get tired much quicker than 3 months ago but I HAVE done things in the last week I had tried and failed two weeks ago See post #1904 of this thread --the revised Chinese tanks It's a VERY simple thing which is why it was so frustrating not being able to do it and this really is a fundamental of "Icon building 101" but a few days ago I had a breakthrough moment and FINALLY figured out how to create a unified Hull / Turret Icon............I COULD NOT DO THAT when I came home from hospital... now I can. It's small progress but progress nonetheless Also heartening is the fact that after I had my stroke in 2015 it took me six weeks to get back the typing skill I got back in 2 weeks now Don |
