Re: MBT's
Dear Don,
I am sorry to hear that you had a nasty fall. Best thing you can do is take a load off and get well. We'll all be here when you are 100% again. In the meantime, Godspeed! Best Regards, RecruitMonty |
Re: MBT's
As I just posted in the FB Patch Thread along comes this in the news a few minutes ago how timely as it refers to that particular Post concerning Hungry. Hungry is asserting that Ukraine's latest counter Drone strikes against Russia is "An attack on our sovereignty."
https://www.newsweek.com/hungary-nat...ucture-2053150 Being about 700 miles from the front lines, I think Mordovia, Romania, Baltic States and Finland have a lot more to worry about. If I were Hungry, I'd be quiet and sitting on my hands if you wanted that German equipment. Why? Because Germany has of this writing passed its largest Defense and Infrastructure Bill since WWII. They just might decide to keep those LEOPARD 2A8HU tanks for themselves as it won't take much to upgrade them to German BUNDESWEHR Specs. They do have about 4 or 5 other prospective customers for them as well. This bill will be a GREAT help to the Ukraine... "It is also an important moment for Ukraine. The defence plans approved today by the Bundestag also allow spending on aid for states "attacked in violation of international law" to be exempt from the debt brake." Maybe they will get them to "battle test" the export version. Germany is certainly holding all the cards while Hungry might only be holding a "pair". https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c62z6gljv2yo . Verification of passage of the bill... https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world...f940d67b&ei=28 Regards, Pat :capt: |

Re: MBT's
Yes indeed, after my op I overheard a nurse in the office talking to someone on the phone "we don't know, it could go either way." I wondered who she was talking about as I felt fine. It wasn't until later when I got out of hospital and compared notes that I realised she was talking about me!

Re: MBT's
In 1988 I got shot in the head. Had brain surgery. Was on life support. Lost most everything since then. The fact I've been lifting weights and exercising all my life, before and after, has been more of a curse than a life saver, since some organizations believe I was never hurt that bad. It must be a bad economy, it's making people act like they never would otherwise.

Re: MBT's
There is always a lot of uncertainty of the outcome when major surgery is involved if for no other reason than every person is unique and that makes predicting an outcome nearly impossible. ( and toss in the skill of the individual surgeon to the equation)
You'll know if it worked if you can walk away and resume a "normal" life ONE major medical event in 10 years changes attitudes...... THREE changes them even more. I know for certain that what happened to me in January has more chance to go sideways at some point than my stroke in 2015 BUT I am doing some things far better now than I did after the stroke......... some things not so much but overall I think Yes there IS improvement, and my wife agrees, The progress I have made in healing "to near normal" this time is leaps and bounds more than after the stroke BUT the two events are apples and oranges........different cause and because of that, what I'll be like by Christmas are totally unknown but from the perspective of my release from hospital mid March to now projected ahead three months , I feel that if I continue improving at the rate I have I *might* be back to "near normal" Maybe......... |
Re: MBT's
Please don't ruin your health over a game. Focus on getting well.
