the email im using right now - www.graffiti.net . almost 100% spam proof (about 4 spams for the past year-and-a-half). they're starting to charge money for full service tho, but still you get 1mb of completely spam free mail.

You can get a free pop3 account with www.softhome.net - it has a few restrictions buyt the fact that it's pop3 should get past your firewall problems.

It's a while since I've been there but I believe www.f*ckmicrosoft.com (be creative with the asterisk) do some free accounts of some kind.

Personally i use www.eudoramail.com - I find it meets my needs pretty well.

I am myself using Gawab from now, 15 mb available and no spam in your inbox. (No pop3 access though, so I will keep my yahoo.fr email as long as this service is provided) Of course, my broswer is protected by an anti pop-up and an AdBlock, so I don't really mind the ads on the webmail. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Not much gets through that I don't want. Although, to be honest I have never used it for my PBW emails so I don't know for sure it won't block those. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">10 dollars a month for email and a few MB of web space? That is extremely expensive there. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif You can get gigabytes of web space for 10 dollars a month... with email software on it and ready to work, of course.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I am sure there is Fyron. I was just giving that as a suggestion. There are probably many cheaper. Finding a cheaper place isn't something I am looking for. The reason I am hanging on to it is to keep the same email address.

They do a good job of filtering.
They only want you to see their sponsors ads.

Juno's free Internet connection is terrible for SEIV Play By WEB.
They bounced me. They claimed I used too much bandwidth.
They choked my service with so many ads and ad downloads that it would take about ten minutes of connection time before I got to the turn upload page. Then if my connection did not get bounced by this time, I could finally upload my turn.
So it took up to 20 minutes to do turn upload that should have taken about 2 minutes. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon8.gif
Then they bounced me and tried to sell me their premium service. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif

I use Access4Free for internet access now. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">How does Juno's 'free' service work? I've found they have a local access number in town and I'm curious if it's worth signing up as a 'backup' access for when my reguar ISP has problems. Is it adware that actually downloads ads onto your local computer?? Or do they just force you to use a certain homepage with ads on it?

Re: [OT] I need Email

Juno has it's own mailbox thingy and browser.
I did use IE with their internet service.

They do download ads to your computer.

There ula for free internet also states they may use your computational time. They want you computer to stay up and running and be available.

Well, my computer was not near the phone jack and I was not leaving the damn wire in plain view. I was also not leaving the computer on. So maybe that is another reason they dropped me.
